I thought the need to create this thread, because I'm marking out inside my head LOL!!! Drew McIntyre recently revealed in an interview with the "BattleGround" Podcast that he's going to see if he can talk to management one of these days, for him to bring it back. I'm just picturing it now with live crowds back, everybody going crazy hearing "Shaman's Harvest: Broken Dream's" play throughout the arena & the crowds going crazy! It's funny because this is one of my favorite all-time theme songs, but I never realized it was THAT popular with massive WWE fans
I gotta get everybodies thoughts though: Who is excited to hear this prospect of "Broken Dreams" coming back, even it it ended up being one-day? I mean I compare this situation to Jeff Hardy saying it's in his contract to bring back "One More Words" BUT Drew McIntyre is a main-event star on the main roster, so if management can fulfill Jeff Hardy's wish, I'd imagine they should want to fulfill Drew McIntyre's wish . . . right?!?!?
People seem to take issue with all the title shots he's received this year, but I'm sure the return of Broken Dreams would end that because they are so fickle.
It'll take A LOT of time for people to love McIntyre back again = it reminds me of when Cena was getting so big with the crowd that they had to turn him babyface in 2003, but then Cena started to get so much hate when he was successfully defending his title time & time again. When McIntyre got released, I know people wanted to see another WWE run and McIntyre came back, people loved him & he finally achieved his dream of becoming World Champion!
I'm happy to see McIntyre's career sky-rocket, but it'd be much more of a fan if I got to hear "Broken-Dreams" all the time!!! I'm weird though too because I want to see him have it within his "Babyface" run while people want to see him have it, as a Heel. I just never knew this song was so popular with the wrestling fanbase - I thought I was the only one, HAHA!!!
I’m a fan of that song but I don’t know the obsession with always going back to the past. Sheamus wants his old theme back, which sucked. Jeff wants No More Words back, which I never understood why people were so into it.
If we are doing all of this, Cesaro should go back to using Swagger’s “Patriot” theme because that was really a banger.
I'm confused - how does Drew mentioning that he wants to bring his old theme back (if that is true) correlate to it being THAT popular with WWE fans? Just because he likes it doesn't mean we do, lol.
I wasn't watching when he had his old theme, but after Googling it, it seems pretty dated/boring. His new theme is much better IMO (same with Sheamus and Jeff should def stick to the Hardy theme).
I don't see this theme setting the current WWE universe on fire unless it happened at a big event like Royal Rumble/WM where you tend to get more of a hardcore/long-term fans type of crowd checking back in (if it is true that it's popular with fans that were watching 11 yrs ago). This sounds more like a nostalgia thing combined with the fact that you love the song, but I could def be wrong and everyone else might love it.
Speaking of new themes, why hasn't Dolph had his music changed by now and a name change or new nickname? He prob has the worst theme song for a vet on the roster right now and his name sounds like a low-rent/B-list porn star.

There is definitely alot of demand for it to come back. Usually they don't revert back to older music especially if they have to pay for it, like they would with Drew or Jeff.
Hogan VS Flair
Wins & loses do(n't) matter. Lock up. Shine. Dive to break. Rest hold. Comeback. Cut off. Heat. Go for a finish. Counter. Go Home. Mitsuharu Misawa. Kenta Kobashi. Jim Londos. Bull Nakano. Rikidōzan. Kazuchika Okada. Hiroshi Tanahashi. Tomohiro Ishii. Manami Toyota.

Oh, didn't know that. Can you cite the sources that make you pretty certain that there is definitely a lot of demand? Like are there polls where hundreds of thousands/millions of people voted on this and they want it back?
It doesn't sound like they are reverting back to either theme out of demand. OP mentions that Drew is allegedly going to see if he can talk to mgmt about using it again (whatever that means - I would think he would just do it instead of talking about it). So it sounds like a conversation hasn't even happened yet let alone confirmation that it is coming back.
Jeff supposedly requested it in his contract -not sure how we know that is true, but if it is, the reason they would revert back to it and pay the money for it is because it is contractual and not necessarily out of demand by the fans.
Unless I missed something there is no confirmation that Jeff's old theme is coming back either, but then again, I don't watch main event so maybe I missed it. It seems like it is more likely that Jeff gets released over his old theme coming back.
Both Sheanus and McIntyre's old themes scream late 00's / early 10's mid card heel. Both would be a step backwards and wouldn't fit either character anymore.
The only old theme I'd bring back would be Jeff's No More Words. I'm not even that big a fan if it, but this Hardy Boyz tribute act he's doing just now is severely holding him back.
Onze gedachten en gebeden zijn met jullie, Fernando...

Search Drew McIntyre Broken Dreams on Twitter. People are constantly tweeting asking to bring it back
Jeff said on the Bump there had previously been issues with him getting back the No More Words song due to some difficulties with the original singer. But more recently has said it is going to return when fans are back.
With how Drew's character is now, I can't see that Broken Dreams song being something that would work for him.
It would be like Sheamus going back to his old theme song from 10 years ago.
I loved the theme, but 100% agree, it just doesn't work with how his character is now. One, it just comes off better for when he's a heel. It would have probably worked when he was still the "Scottish Psychopath," but now, it would just seem off.
And on a side note to the theme, I remember years back someone had used Broken Dreams with William Regal's king titan tron and it worked so well. Wish I could find it to post it.

Sheamus is basically the same character from 10 years so there is no reason why he couldn't bring it back.
It was a popular theme and Sheamus himself wanted to bring it back, but Vince said no.
