There’s a real issue with the distribution of this line. You pre-order online and you either get it or your order gets cancelled. It might go back up for sale, but if not you’re out of luck if you or a friend can’t find it in store. Then you have to resort 3rd party prices of at least 2-3 times retail, if you can afford to. Then they don’t allow Series 11 to be up for pre-order, which makes it even harder to attain these, especially if you don’t have a Target near you. Mattel doesn’t seem to care as long as they get paid. Call this bitching or me “throwing a tantrum” over toys if you want, but this is ridiculous. I totally agree with you. Legends 7-9 were totally easy to come by but for some reason they decided to switch things up. It also sucks that I see people getting their orders of 30 beefcakes and 30 DDP’s shipped and most people can’t even manage to get one of each. Just kind of makes it harder to get excited for things |

Steve, bill they say they try to do what they can. Been saying it for years. Remember when they asked everyone to take a pic of our local stores? Yeah nothing happened after that. It's gotten worse. They need to offer in store exclusives to appease the Walmart, target foot traffic overlords. Yet, you go there and nothing. Does Walmart or target actually think I'm going to go in there with hopes I find the elite or ultimate I want? Fail, and buy something else? No I leave the store, unless I already had a shopping list, which I was going in anyway. Bad for business all around. Just look at Walmart baf sets. Someone in Canada bought pallets of if. Mattel care? They do not, empathy? Maybe. |

So because people on here ordered a couple it automatically makes them a scalper? 10 of one and 5 of the other is more than a couple. I only ordered 1 DDP and that's all. My post earlier was in jest. No way I'm ordering 10 beefcakes, I don't even get more than 3 HBKs at a time lol  |

Not disagreeing with you, but there’s yet to be a legends figure to hit eBay that was hard to get, they will always be double their price when they first start hitting shelves, but give it a month or 2 and you’ll get it for $15-$30. With that said, I do agree with how they messed everything up, seems like I remember seeing something about Steve saying Target/Walmart didn’t want their chase/exclusives figures sold online. So if that’s the case, it’s the idiots from the stores. But if not, Mattel just wants people to fight and pay double the price for the figures. I mean, ringside would have the mainline chase variants/exclusives of the set , now they don’t even get that anymore. |

Don’t get me wrong , I totally understand what you’re saying, it’s frustrating and stupid, it seems they’re trying to make it harder for people to find which makes finding them in the “wild” as people would say, not fun anymore. But I’m just saying it seems that Steve has said it’s target/Walmart making those changes. Which he also was asked about if RS would still sale the chase/exclusives and he told them to ask Ringside, which I have emailed Ringside 3-4 different times about that question and still never got an answer about to. I just don’t see why we can’t get transparency on things instead of treating it like a top world secret. |

Here you go. Obviously the tights are different but so too are the wrist gauntlets. The stripes are different on here, they are closer together than on the regular figure: ![]() Did he ever wear this monstrosity of an outfit? Yes, he wore the blue attire during the Dream Team days. I believe this exact attire is from a match with the US Express or Sheik & Volkoff. Here is the only picture I can find of him in the tights, though the wrist gauntlets are different.  EDIT: Here is a picture from the match he wore the tights in, it was against Sheik and Volkoff. Apparently this is their match from The Best of the WWF Vol. 7, it took place on December 17, 1985:  |

It would be too expensive to change the soft goods accessories for the chase figure to work. Though, it is likely that Brutus wore that coat with that attire, the yellow/gold leopard print coat seemed to be one he wore a lot.  |
