The two I want most are the Ric Flair retirement gear in red/black, and then this one just because it looked pretty unique:

WM23 seems to be a highly demanded figure on here. It looks like they’re doing one (basic) in one of those showdown packs with Cena. I always liked those black and white ones he wore in 05. He wore them pretty frequently. That’d be cool. Of course, an Ultimate of either WM25 or 26 will be welcomed too. On the topic of HBK, a white whale of mine is Ultimate WM12. I know it’s been done a few times, but it’s time for an update on that one. For some reason wrestling figure collectors hate the same attire more than once. But with the advancements in the last 10 years, some of these iconic looks need to be redone They already released it as a basic years ago. I guess it’s possible they could do a rerelease of it.

I still don't understand how there are so little RA Era HBK's out, he had so many great attires from that era, yet every time there's a new HBK Elite, it's a 90's attire. Meanwhile, any time they actually do a RA attire, it always gets stuck as a Basic. WrestleMania 23 Royal Rumble 2006 WrestleMania 22 Backlash 2008 WrestleMania 21 Those are just some attires that would make great Elites. I consider us the activists of RA figures

I have my personal ultimate HBK figure already but I have to admit, the lack of post-return attires is downright criminal.
It's almost as if Mattel doesn't realize he had a second half of his career.
Worse, if they do realize, they don't think anyone cares.
My HBK is from his original run but, funny thing, I haven't had the chance to watch much of anything from before his hiatus. Ever. I didn't start watching the WWF until fall of 1998. Commissioner Michaels was my intro to him as a superstar. Everything I've ever had the chance to see live was post-return. Back when I had the network I watched some of the older stuff to see what it was like but, yeah. I never got to be a part of Shawn's first run so having so few RA figures might be why there is only one in my collection.
Funny story though - when I really started getting into WWF in late 98, I was discussing it one day with my boyfriend over pizza (he was a longtime fan) and I actually said...
"So, I was looking through the Pennys catalogue and they have Wrestling figures. I gotta ask - who the hell is Shawn Michaels and why does he rate a figure?"
I am not exaggerating when I say the spittake that comment generated became the stuff of legend between us. To this day I still can't believe there was a point in my lifetime where I would ever ask that silly of a question.

I imagine mid 90's Shawn is just more popular and his colorful tights sell better than the chaps.
I know why he went to the chaps because of the knee braces, but the tights were my preferred look too.

I will buy any and every HBK mattel makes that being said my two biggest wants are Mind Games and Wrestlemania 23. There are also quite a few more niche HBK attires I'd love also.

It's because them mattel f*ckers hate the Ruthless Aggression Era. And they can go f*ck themselves for that. How many Ultimate Warrior figures do we need? God I'm so sick of 80's and 90's nostalgia.

Summerslam 2002 or we riot. Ew no, that attire sucks. I love that match but I hate when Mattel makes figures of wrestlers not in actual wrestling gear. Please don't make a Shawn Michaels in jeans over his Mania 23 attire.

But until we get a Mania 23 Shawn every other Shawn Michaels isn't good enough lmao.

i want these jeans street fight match brown with little boy hair cut I genuinely hope they never make either of those. If they chose either of those over Mania 19 or 23 or something like that I'd lose my sh*t.

I couldn’t agree more IMO the two biggest omissions are the WM 23 and 24 since we have both counterparts in elite already. Also I think his ultimate is my favorite so far too! He’s my all time favorite so sign me up for tons more!

God I'm so sick of 80's and 90's nostalgia. 90's kids are insufferable with their nostalgia. As if we didn't grow up with the exact same sh*t. The 80's kids can play their NES and chill but these 90's millennials need to go on somewhere.

I hope the only HBK shown at SDCC is from SummerSlam 2002 just so I can watch the kid "lose [his] sh*t".
