Nice! I've been waiting for a Macho. I hope they do a Jake, Roddy, or Bret eventually. yea hopefully Savage is well done and i hope is a mid 80s version with the robe and headband. the Warrior they did was amazing. Taker is as well but i haven't gotten it in person yet Yes, if it's an 86/87 Macho, I'll get it. If it's neon cowboy, not interested.

Honestly I think the Superstars line is better for old school collectors than the retros. A lot of potential there. Though not really into the Bray being in the first series.

I’ve been out of the figure collecting game for a long time now, but I got the bug again recently. I heard about some of the upcoming Hogan figures, and my interest was piqued big time, only to find the current scene rather mind boggling. I never knew trying to order an action figure would be so challenging!
Anyway, I joined this forum just today so that I could ask a couple of questions.
The first is: Is there a Walmart exclusive Hogan figure (maybe Hollywood Hogan) going on sale soon? I thought I read something about that, but couldn’t find any info on it.
Secondly, and this is subjective and pertains to personal taste, is: What would be considered the best 80s era Hulk Hogan figure? Would most folks say the Defining Moments WrestleMania3 one? I think that’s a contender, but there’s one with a red shirt that looks pretty good that was an exclusive at a site called Ringside Collectibles.
I know I’m late to the game for the ones I mentioned, alas.
I was hoping the Survivor Series was going to be a great one, but I personally find the face somewhat off.
Thanks all!

LOL the face is off because it's the same one they used for that terrible American Made Hogan... you know, the one that somehow got made before Hollywood Hogan... an inexcusable mistake that took 6 years to correct? I love you.

First of all it was a very good day but where are the freaking Mega Powers???! I mean I'm hearing that two packs are going to take a vacation so where does that leave us?? Mattel could slap 250 dollars on a Mega Power two pack and sell every freaking one. Makes no sense.
Love the Survivor Series Hulk Hogan, mustache is off a little bit but still an incredible figure and the world title belt was a nice surprise. The only thing that sucks is this figure will more than likely be harder to find than Hollywood Hulk Hogan in the wild.
Go ahead and call me the fortune teller regarding WM 9 Hulk, the figure is already hitting THREE figures on ebay and yours truly called that a few months ago. I, like many others, was unable to snag a preorder but I have no problem paying 300 dollars for the figure if need be.
Series 91 is gold with Hulk and RVD leading the way. Was Happy to see so many legends today, Mattel knows where the money goes.
Chief Jay Strongbow was the surpirse my buddy told me about and while I'm happy to see him I think my buddy mislead me with his information. I was expecting the Steiners and I let him know how I felt, he needs to be more careful in the future.
Really excited to see the Ultimate Line get their own legends series. Looking like Hulk will be in there pretty soon.

Just realized Zodiac is missing his arm bands. I wonder if they'll be added...Could they be soft goods with tassels?

Idk why Mattel lags with giving us iconic packs/ attires. Mega powers is a much better two pack than Rey/joe goldberg/Bret

Mega powers is a much better two pack than Rey/joe goldberg/Bret How the Mega Powers from Summer Slam 1988 weren't rushed into production the minute Hogan was back in the fold is baffling. They would have made a great elite 2-pack. Having Hollywood Hogan in the Ultimate Edition line and Mega Powers Hogan in the elite 2-pack line would have been a great way to bring him back.

After going through everything I realized I'll be treading lightly on a few Elite sets. 89 I only want Drew, and 90 only Orton. So that'll be nice to take it easy for a couple series. I actually just put a pre-order in, and even though I don't usually like mixing several pre-orders I figured might as well save a little money compared to multiple orders. I probably could've waited but the one thing I wanted to add is E88 Riddle which currently isn't on the site.

I have to agree that Superstars had a better showing than the Retros -- and I'm disappointed because I was SO looking forward to the retros...

Bill marking out over the colour of a chair accessory that’s actually widely inaccurate is probably the highlight of Comic-Con so far.
