I like how they continued the WWF's way of naming him. He was Virgil in the WWF because of Dusty being the booker in JCP. Then when he arrives in WCW, he's Vincent to poke fun at McMahon. And finally, they change his name to Shane during the west Texas rednecks run - a play on Shane McMahon's name and a famous western Movie of the same name. Nice touch. They also called him Curly Bill for a bit. |

Was this match supposed to be longer? I gotta think if Mach wasnt injured during this time they wouldve gave em more time before they did the Sapphire revelation finish You dont book a 2 minute PPV match with the caliber of these two otherwise thats for sure Yeah, very disappointing end to the feud. Having that big mixed tag team match at WrestleMania VI to this... what could have been. |
