IWCCW shot circa Summer 91 
I remember seeing the video of Rude and Honky confronting each other on IWCCW but didn't know they actually had matches. I figured Rude signed with WCW before it could have happened.

I always felt like Rick Martel looked out of place in WCW too I agree it was a bit jarring. At least Martel’s short WCW run had some pretty good matches and potential before his injury. |

I'll add two more names from that time period, that just seemed out of place. The only real thing Jannetty's run was known for was that he was the guy that Jericho beat before reading his list of 1,004 moves. I also never understood giving him the Hollywood Blondes' old theme.

I think Valentine also had the Blondes theme as did Blitzkrieg. I believe it was originally intended for Jake Roberts, not sure if he ever made it to TV with it.
Valentine looks straight out of 1985 in that one pic. Someone could photoshop MSG in the background and it would be the same.

Nothing I can find has Roberts using it. But speaking of Roberts' WCW run, I found one match, a six man, where on one side you have Roberts teaming with Cactus Jack and Rick Rude. It's so strange seeing Roberts and Rude on the same team after that great feud they had in WWF four years prior. |
