That match should have been on the actually Summerslam, Austin deserved better than a Free For All match. Those were normally exclusive to low, low card talent.

It annoys me that those Free For All matches aren't included as part of the events on the WWE Network. Especially the 1996 Royal Rumble, as the FFA match determined the #1 and #30 entry positions. |

There was a video, either WWF home or Coliseum put out in early 1997 that had a few of the FFA matches. Though I think they were chopped up like early Coliseum PPVs. I think the video started with the 1996 Rumble FFA and ended with the 1997 minis FFA match. It was one of my favorite videos because I loved the lower card guys who might not otherwise make it on a PPV. |
