No WM VII for you... In hindsight a shame that they didn't get WM6 as they originally bid for. With Warrior vs Hogan and the company still riding a wave, they would have stood a good chance of getting in a very big crowd, then let the Skydome have WM 7 with the smaller capacity. The only question mark would be whether the effect of Hogan defending the honour of the US of A against the turncoat Slaughter in Canada would work.
I've always thought that the Sports Arena looks naff. WM 8 may not be a better show overall compared to WM 7 but it looks fantastic in the Hoosier Dome compared to 7, which has always looked somewhat dingy to me. |
