I still say Savage and Jake should have been in the match at Survivor Series. Keep them away from each other for much of the match, then let them go at it for a little bit and both be DQ'd or Counted Out. During the match and after, continue to reiterate that their first one-on-one meeting will take place at the Tuesday in Texas PPV. Interesting to see Tornado with the Duggan team, the picture never showed him in it, I guess he missed picture day. Shame Bully didn't get to make the PPV, at least get one in his career. I've heard it said that they often did the Survivor Series photos at Summerslam back then because the roster would often be scattered around as they were putting on so many different shows. I think at Summerslam 91 you can even see Michaels is there backstage (watch carefully as the Mountie is led away to "jail"), even though he wasn't wrestling that night, which gives a bit of creedence to them using Summerslam to get photos done ready for the next PPV... though in this case I suppose it doesn't stack up as Kerry was very much present at MSG that day.. who knows, maybe he wasn't with it enough for the photos, he seems kinda erratic even when wrestling in the 6-man. Yeah, if it doesn't happen at Summer Slam, it's probably one of the TV tapings just afterwards. |
