Yeah, they should have done what Kevin Sullivan wanted, put Bret in the feud with Sting and Hogan - making it a 3-man race for the WCW title. They literally had the hottest guy in wrestling handed to them on a silver platter and then proceeded to spend the next several months cooling him off as much as possible. Yep. He should have been put in the feud with Sting and Hogan (two other white-hot stars in the business at that time). Adding Bret into that mix would have kept his momentum going. But they didn't do that, like you said, they spent the next few months cooling him off to the point he wasn't important anymore. It still baffles me that they put him in a feud with Flair right after what he did at Starrcade (turning on the NWO and helping Sting defeat Hogan). You would think after costing him the world title, that Hogan would want to get revenge on Bret, but no. Plus, putting him against Flair at that time wasn't the right move. Flair was one of the most popular stars in the company, putting Bret against him (especially in horsemen country) was going to turn the fans against Bret - not support him. After that, they put Bret against many of the lower NWO members, making him look less like a top star.

Yep feuded with Brian Adams, a past his prime Curt Henning where he got left laying multiple weeks in a row where no one came to help him. Then boom turned to join the NWO and just be a lackey.

This was probably Davey Boy's best chance at becoming a World Champion, even if for only a short time. I liked his WCW run, shame we never got the Davey Boy/Rick Rude feud they started to build to. I remember seeing Davey Boy do this and just being amazed at the strength.

Yep, a lot of things they did with Bret made no sense. Him joining the NWO out of nowhere was just ridiculous. For a while there, WCW just seemed to use Bret as the swerve every week on Nitro or Thunder.

I did enjoy the match with Curt at Uncensored 98. Nowhere near their WWF work but still a good match
But back to Bret/Hogan, its like back in 93 it all comes down to Hogan and his BS politics. He didnt wanna put em over so in the end we never got the feud we shouldve got.Damn shame

Andre was robbed... This picture is amazing, it really shows just how big Andre really was. Joey Marella was an averaged-sized man, yet Andre on his knees is almost towering over him. Unbelievable!

I remember seeing Davey Boy do this and just being amazed at the strength. Yeah they were building to a match at Starrcade that year for Big Gold. Shame we never got it

They never had a match, but they were building towards one. If I remember correctly, Jesse Ventura was holding an arm-wrestling tournament, it looked like Davey Boy was going to win it. Before the finals or semi-finals, Davey Boy was in the ring preparing to arm wrestle, then Rude enters the ring saying that any winner wouldn't be the true arm-wrestling champion because none of them beat him - Rick Rude. Davey Boy said something, then Rude attacked him. I believe they did a few interviews on following WCW shows, but the match didn't happen because Davey Boy left the company. The Big Boss Man was brought in to replace Davey Boy in the feud with Rick Rude.

Davey returned to the WWF in late 90 just when Rude was on his way out. I'd imagine a feud in 91 for sure if Rude stayed. No doubt wouldve been great

But here is a picture of Rude attacking Davey Boy at one of the PPVs around that time.

That is a thing of beauty right there. That's how my ToyRus looked back in the day. Nowadays, people would be calling all of these guys pegwarmers... back then, we didn't mind. Also digging the puzzle's as well (boxes above Gene's head of Warrior and Hogan). I had the Warrior one as a kid. And this one of course:
