I'm surprised this is not on video either. Seems like there are some good photos from the match, but no clear video. Is this the same night as this:

Probably the best time for Heenan in the WWF. They had the Tag Team Champions and the IC Champion. My fav time period of the faction 1989

Love the pic, but man, Mattel needs to really do better with DiBiase's head scan - not the best. They also need to apply some type of metallic paint to get the sheen of the tux.

They made that Piper unreleased DVD lil while back that wouldve been ideal to have it on there

Shame, kind of feels like this would have been the blow-off match for their feud that we never got.

Too bad the Brain Busters didn't stick around till the end of 1990, if they had, that probably would have been my favorite Heenan family faction: Rude, Perfect, Arn, Tully, Barbarian, Haku - would have been great.

The match they had with the Harts at SSlam man fantastic. Best opener in SSlam history in my book

Yeah another Piper feud that I was invested in but in the end didnt have a true ending Yeah, Rude/Piper should have finished at WM6. Have Bad News Brown interfere costing Piper the match, Rude gets a big win going into his run with Warrior in the summer of 1990, and Piper stays strong since he doesn't lose cleanly. Piper/Flair's feud was my second favorite feud in the WWF at the time behind Jake/Savage. Hogan/Taker was really good too. The way they built-up Taker at this time made him feel like a real threat to Hogan, which made the feud more intriguing. LOD/Disasters was also a fun feud at the time.

I’m always surprised about how short sighted wrestlers were about money back in those days. Arm said Vince guaranteed them that in their first year they would make more money then they every made in any other year and if they didn’t he would give them the difference and they didn’t and Vince gave them money. But they gave notice to go back to 1990 WCW.
Like my buddy and I were talking a few weeks ago that we still don’t understand how Rick Rude and Vince can’t get back on the same page over house show payoffs….

Yeah 91 was a strong year for feuds in the WWF for sure Good times brother. Miss em

True, but Arn and Tully also came to an agreement with Turner/WCW for a huge contract, more than they ever made before (even with Vince), and it was guaranteed with less workdays. However, Tully tested positive for drugs and WCW didn't want him anymore. Then Jim Herd said that Arn by himself wasn't worth the contract they offered and cut his pay by $150,000.

Crazy to think how quick Tully's career went down the drain following the drug bust. He had stints here and there but came nowhere near to his glory days.Shame
