This was the reason for me to buy a Super Nes. Still the greatest and most fun with console ever, to me it is at least.

I would have played this game for hours at a time if I had it as a kid. I don't understand why the Genesis (or Mega Drive as it was called here) and NES versions have different rosters though.

Also, for Super NES, they didn't have the finishing moves with the wrestlers, that was just on Sega, right?

I had it on Sega Many finishers on the Pukester I can tell ya that Yeah, the Sega game had the best roster. I wanted to play as the Ultimate Warrior. Wasn't the roster for the Sega different also in the Royal Rumble game? And why no finishers on the Super Nes?

I wonder if that was a WWF decision or the game makers decision. Maybe the game makers wanted different rosters so people would have to buy their platform.

That would be my bet Yeah, the only other thing I can think of is if the sega catridge was released at a later date than the SNES cartridge, then some of the performers might not have been under contract any longer, so they needed new guys. For the super WrestleMania game, the roster for SNES looks like late 1991, while the roster for SEGA looks like mid 1992.
