The reign begins I always thought they said that the reason Honky Tonk got the IC title was because Butch Reed missed the show? Or was it because he arrived late? |

According to Reed in a shoot interview it was because he no-showed a few events leading up to this. I could swear on his podcast Bruce Prichard has said Reed was never in consideration, but Bruce changes his stories sometimes weekly. |

Interesting, I was just watching this Honky Tonk Man shoot interview about it and he says that it was because Butch no-showed the event and the image above is from the next night when they staged the photo. Go figure. |
