Entertainment = Movies, Music, Television Other Figures, Toys, and Collectibles = Toys and Figures that aren't wrestling related, plus other Collectibles that aren't wrestling related. Now which board do you think this goes in? Here still.. Comics are a form of popculture.. It's not like the boards are completely cluttered with them anyway. This is where they belong.

I hope Vision doesn't die cause he is the coolest Avenger of them all(next to Captain America of course).

Let me just say this, and then I'll leave it alone. How many current topics about comics books involve their prices, and value? The answer is none. None of the active topics about comics books involve their after market value. So, there goes the collectible aspect. Now I believe the heading under the Ent. board says "Talk about all your favorite music, Movies, TV, etc." It doesn't say "Only discuss things that appear on a screen, or come out of a speaker."
Now, if someone wanted to know the value of a comic book, then it belongs on the other figs board, because then it treads into collectible territory. But having a discussion about comics, has nothing to do with action figures, or price. It involves the content within the comic.
Why this is an issue is beyond me.

It's like this: comic character and storyline discussion deals with ENTERTAINMENT. If we were talking about the collectability of the books in general, or their value, then by all means put the thread into collectables. I wish there was a hub for just comics. There may not be enough interest to sustain something like that, but who knows?

1. Bendis doesn't do superheroes well.
2. Vision can't die. He is not alive. He can be destroyed, but he will come back. A character as big as Vision who is as important to thew Avengers mythos does not stay gone. Only a few big characters have ever stayed dead. Bucky. Uncle Ben. Captian Marvel. That's it. He will be back.
3. Thor may die, but he will be back too. I f***ing hate Bendis for destroying one of the comics I enjoyed most for some cheap shock value. Ooh, Thor's dead. Big deal. He'll come back stronger than ever and destryo whatever it was that killed him. As far asI'm concerned, the Thor I loved to read about died when Bendi's buddy Oeming took over the writing reigns for series co-creator Dan Jurgens.
4. I will never stop reading Avengers. Bendis will be gone, and won't leave a memorable Avengers run behind him. Thor and Vision will be brought back, good as new. People will forget that Benids shat all over the stories that came before him. At least I will.
5. New Avengers is just a way to make Bendis' run seem like a big deal, IMO. I'm sure they'll go back to original numbering and title when he's done. It's just like went Grant Morrison changed X-men to New X-Men.

Oh, god damn them for thinking this belongs here. Damn them straight to hell for thinking that this post doesn't belong in Entertainment. Because we can't have a comic discussion taking away from yet another Friday the 13th thread, can we? God forbid it bump a thread about Lindsay Lohan down. Anyway, I don't see Vision dying. I think Bendis gets his rocks off by monkeying with storylines, and shaking things up. If I've learned anything from reading comics over the years, it's that no one stays dead.

Your reply will do nothing, go to the admins if you want it to be sorted. If we weren't stuck in one topic and weren't stuck in a board where if we make too many topics people would complain I'm sure alot more would discuss comics. I know I do at the comic forum I visit.

I say they just make a comic forum.. Then all things comic related (comic movies, TV shows, cartoons, comics themselves) can go there.... Make it comic/books.. Whatever... The boom of the comic industry is making a lot of new fans, just look at the entertainment board and all of the topics about the movies and such there... I think it'd be popular enough.
