AEW Unmatched Series 1 Final Figure Photos

I wonder how the height of that Cody LJN-styled figure compares to the original LJNs. The Jakks Classic Superstars LJN-styled figs were quite a bit shorter than the originals, so I'll bet that this will be the same case here.

Britt's scan actually looks decent compared to reference photos. But they totally botched the paintjob on the face. It's not a bad representation of Britt from the indies where she wore less makeup, but nothing like her current look. It's that kind of glaring oversight when they're great about attention to detail in other areas that is so frustrating.

Especially on a figure that Jeremy has essentially been hyping and playing up on social media for months.

I've seen leaks of the figure in hand (non studio shot) and the figure does honestly look way better. The official photo they're using does the figure no justice. It doesn't help that the photographer looks like he was sent a figure with awful paint application on her face. 

With that being said, I can't help but feel a little underwhelmed with the series as a whole. My main issue is it really does look like Jazwares are starting to cut a few corners on the smaller details that they got so so right in series 2-5. Jake Hager having no knee pads in series 6, Shida not having a Kendo Stick in series 6 (I get it was likely a cost issue but personally the Kendo stick is more important to her as a character then recycling the god awful women's title they're using). The renders showing Dax Harwood from series 7 having re-used boots instead of his own authentic molded parts and now with Unmatched Series 1... The detailing on Miro's boots just isn't existent. The figure is based off his debut singles match against Trent, Miro had a camo design running over his boots and in the figure they're lazily all black. Also we were told that Unmatched would feature wrestlers lower on the card that they didn't feel would sell too well in Unrivaled. Right out of the gate we get 4 characters that have already been featured in Unrivaled :/.  

I guess this means the red LJN Cody is an exclusive of some sort

The Britt scan is bad, but the joint pegs are also really clumsy here. I'm always really hit or miss on double-jointed elbows in particular and their effect on sculpt, but these strike me as really ugly.

I want to like the Kenny scan, but the redish brown hair colour and it looking like Old Man Kenny throw it off for me.

I think Kenny and Darby look awesome.

I really wish they’d given Miro chest hair. Looks odd without it. Hopefully they’ll add that for future figures including Mox.

Disappointing Dustin’s height wasn’t fixed but I like the gear more than his previous figure
