No i mean i want the actual packaging to be a surprise. Ahh, gotcha. Yea, that would be kind of fun. I know there would be a split on people who would/would't want that, but it would almost be nostalgic of going into stores as a kid before knowing what was coming until you got there. altought it's almost impossible to be surprised in today's times with internet spoiling everything. Although the recent ultimate fiend I didn't see the actual figure til I got it in hand.

1.) What else could they possibly show? All that's left really is MOC images.
2.) If it's not bang-on July delivery, does it really matter that much? We've waiting an entire year already, what's a month or two extra going to hurt?

We've waiting an entire year already, what's a month or two extra going to hurt? Clearly all the inpatients will return them for dissatisfaction. But in all honesty, i purchased and im locked in to receive the product i paid for. Im good til it arrives regardless of pics or updates. Im not expecting anything more or anything less. Im a regular basic human

They did say there would be constant updates but is there really anything else they can show? The only big thing left to show would be the packaging right? ^^^100% Idk what people want. When you pay 100% of the money up front. You would hope to get some updates. How hard is it to say "ring is done" "entrance is complete, here is a photo of the 8k lined up getting ready to package" That will make the hype bigger. Just my opinion, but all of us bought this already. Like to know what is going on.

Yeah I’m not sweating the lack of updates but the communication throughout the process coulda been better. Don’t even really need photos just check in whenever a step in the process is complete. Something like “Received approval from licensor for the design of Macho...Tooling for new parts is complete…First factory samples have arrived.”

I don’t mind the lack of updates or anything for the lack of matter. Shoot, it could come out next year for all I care. However, I do understand everyone else’s frustration. I’m curious, has anyone else sold off their rings to substitute it for this one? I don’t think my RSC Nitro skirts would fit given the fact that this ring is slightly smaller

I've never done any of the Haslab items, so I don't have any context on how other companies handle it. But I have no issue with what we've seen and been told so far. They showed updated pieces at WM. My expectations weren't any greater than any other toy I buy - some proto shots as they're available, a shipping notification when the thing is on its way, and it'll show up at my door when it's available.

This set brings me back to when my dad came home from Toys R Us with the BCA MONSTER RING and a BCA series 2 Ultimate Warrior for me as a suprise. That’s a memory that I haven’t thought about in a very long time but seeing this set when it was first announced made all the memories come flowing back.

Umm, some of you expect very specific detailing through the production process and that’s not how stuff like this works. You backed a project and were told a projected release date. Just because you backed the project doesn’t mean you get that kind of info. Some of the entitlement some of expect when it comes to action figures is kinda ridiculous.

I wanna know everything.
When each employee has clocked in/out at the warehouse, who catered the lunch for the corporate meetings in the conference room at Mattel… or if they just did a big take-out order.
EVERYTHING

Not sure why anyone is expecting a June/July release when the initial Email from Mattel Creations says specifically “Ships on or before Aug 30, 2022”

I mean in fairness it’s not really entitlement given that we were literally told we were going to get updates through the process. We were given updates.

I might be misremembering, but wasn't it said somewhere that they would add an elbow pad to Diesel?

The whole world is behind on production from cars to food industry. At the end of the day you paid for the product, not for updates.

Mattel isnt exactly the gold standard when it comes to communication. I wish we would just get a simple message saying ‘New Gen Arena still on track for Aug’. Even if they said ‘New Gen Arena is coming along but the new realistic date is Sept / Oct’ I’d be good with that….then again, this could also turn into the Amazon Hogan situation…

The updates would serve Mattel better than those of us who purchased if Mattel plans on doing anything like this again in the future. I didn't know they said there'd be updates, and I didn't really care to hear them, but giving updates, say on Twitter or one of the "official" outlets, would only generate hype and excitement and get it out there that they're doing big things like Hasbro has done with Marvel Legends and Star Wars.
This is a big project, and it was a success, so I would have thought they'd want to get as much pub as possible.

My dad cut the ring posts for me so it was shortened to be more to scale to the BCA figures. ;-)

I just can’t understand why this has such a high re sale value and it hasn’t even been released yet?
I mean it wasn’t that long ago these were available for pre order, on top of that they actually told you the date when pre orders would be closed, not like you were on the fence and they sold out randomly
Can people have that big of a regret for a item that had every chance to get a short while ago?
But hey if you want it do what you gotta do to get it, I’m just glad I pre ordered mine 😊
