i got mine yesterday and was shocked by how big the entrance piece is. really threw me off, i either didn't look closely in pics, but i guess never really got a sense of the true scale until now. there is no way they do raw or smackdown attitude sets unless they charge 500 bucks. only other sets that would be possible as their next big mattel creations would be rumble 2000 or nitro imo. a bit disappointed by it being battery powered, this would have been a cool light-piece if it was plug-in. definitely not leaving it on for long periods with batteries.
I’d pay good money to anyone who could wire this to a switch It would be easy to convert. You'd just have to determine how much you want to change cosmetically to the back of it. Most of the time when you convert you just take the wiring from the battery compartment. But because of where the batteries go on the entrance, you'd have a chord running out of the top. You could try to the run the wiring to the bottom of one of the sides, drill a hole, and wire it there to a power supply. |

Opened mine. Wow, managed to mess up a ring skirt and print it upside down 🙄 never ceases to amaze me some of the QC stuff they screw up, much less on a premium product

Wow… I knew this set was NEVER going to sell 1000+ like some were predicting, but I didn’t think it would crash this quickly. It’s already dipping below 500. I see some sold for 450 with free shipping. That’s less than 100 bucks profit after fees lol. I guess the key will be to hold onto it for a few years. But that’s tricky as well because Diesel is absolutely going to get another Ultimate and Doink probably will too (in the more iconic blue attire, which is better anyway). On top of that Steve just said in another thread they may do another ring except it will be golden era, which is pretty much the exact same ring lol. So basically the only truly parts of this set are the entrance and Macho, which like he’s already gotten a bunch of ultimates and is likely to get more. So really playing the long game with this set is pretty risky as well. Oh well thankfully none of the seven I got were meant to be sold LOL. All allocated for specific purposes. I would be super bummed if I was trying to resell one or more though. What a weak profit. My friend just got it today, sans the two Ultimates for $230. Ring, entry way, and extra skirts. |

It amazes me that there's still this on-going argument about secondary market prices, since it's going to be a long time before things really settle. First, there will be huge demand, then it'll "crash" (to some extent), then about a year from now the pieces will settle in, and likely incrementally rise from there, with the figures being the most individual valuable pieces. |

It was clear that the price would go down because more and more sets are appearing on the secondary market, but that doesn't change the fact that the set was only produced around 8,500 times. It will become super rare in 1-2 years. We already knew beforehand that the basic structure of the ring would probably be made purchasable for everyone. Steve mentioned that before. Despite everything, we have a stage here which will never be made again, two figures that will never appear in this form again. And one figure, Doink, who will never appear as Ultimate figure again. |

Got mine today and set up the entrance earlier. Really good stuff. I like how the Ultimate boxes aren’t sealed , i’ll figure out if i wanna build or sell the ring eventually. Regardless it was well worth the $250. Thank you Mattel

I can't believe we're still debating the prices on the secondary market. Prices are bound to go down once they start flooding the market. Let's also remember holidays are coming up which in most cases people will fork over some cash. On top of that, this is a limited release. Granted, the ring might not be in huge demand, but the entrance stage, accessories and figures will be. Regular figures that were released a while back are in demand, what makes people think that a limited set won't be? As a matter of fact, we hear people complain every day about desiring rereleases and those are regular retail releases. Mine will be sitting in my closet until I feel like letting go of it. Think of it like crypto or the stock market, there are long term investments and short term investments. We are in it for the long term baby. Now give me a "Hell Yeah!"
