This is why I write the country out when I ship stuff internationally instead of using abbreviations. I assume En is England and GB is Great Britain. No idea what GM is. I just make the assumption that whoever is going to come into contact with is a pod person that hatched yesterday and knows absolutely nothing. So I eliminate anything that might potentially cause confusion for someone with catastrophic brain trauma. This sounds incredibly dumb, but it eliminates so many issues from getting things shipped to ordering fast food at a drive thru. Just stop giving people the benefit of the doubt. The trick is to do it without sounding condescending because that will just annoy competent people. When I ordered the ring from Mattel Creations my address was entered in full with no abbreviations. The issue is I can only go on the fact my address was only given in part on the landmark global tracking shipping address, whether that is on the actual box I don't know and they added the GM abbreviation for Gambia. Landmark Global shipped it to Belgium and Belge Post shipped it to Gambia, where Gambia came from is news to me. Ah. I got you. Well, my technique’s fatal flaw is automated systems. |

Even doink figure alones not even touching a hundred quid. Give it ten or twenty years and see how many still unopened sets are around. People will regret selling stuff seperate then. Just like still sealed original starwars toys. |

Yeah if it ever gets to me, I’ll probably sit on the ring and entrance for a while. Or try and trade it for any Ultimate exclusive that I might end up missing like the two Terry exclusive.

Supply snd demand - secondary markets currently outstripping demand over here at least |

I'd no interest in buying this set, but at this point I'd been looking forward to seeing loooooads of photos of it, people setting up rasslin' pics and entrances and such... where are all the photos? I've seen about 3? I know not everyone has it yet, but it's landed in for a lot of people.

A lot of you guys seem to be unaware of how much the Mattel Elite Scale Ring was going for on the secondary market after retail supplies dried up. People were buying them at Big Lots for like $20-$30. A couple years later and they were going for $300 new before Wicked Cool Toys released the Authentic Scale Ring which was practically the same ring.

I can see those in a few years going for $750+ Not only that, but people seem to forgot how many MASS RELEASED figures go for a buck on the secondary market. We're talking about figures released in abundance and when they're gone people complain. This is a limited set. I believe if you want to get this set the time is now. I think come around Christmas time things will pick up a bit. Also, I do remember Mattel saying that we'll have an idea of the next playset during the next couple of reveals sometime last year. I just want the Nitro stage set, but Bill said that might be down the line if they make one. |

For international orders I'd be very wary of Landmark Global and their partner Bpost as they don't seem to be the best.
I certainly won't be backing anything that has them as the delivery partner based on my current experience with them.

What are they saying? Mattel Creations is my first and only stop. Being told the same thing over and over again is no good to me eg wait six weeks. My item should have shipped to the UK directly not to Belgium and then forwarded on, this possibly is to do with landmark globals contract, something I wasn't aware of when I backed, quite frankly then why Gambia was added to my address beggers belief. Once bitten, twice shy comes to mind. Unfortunately for me, I've got to go through this bs with macho man to. |
