Received the ring today.
Nearly six weeks after it was sent.
Quite frankly why my address was listed as in Gambia still baffles me.

Received the ring today. Nearly six weeks after it was sent. Quite frankly why my address was listed as in Gambia still baffles me. Same! Arrived around an hour ago. Can’t wait to dive in and unbox it all. Hopefully it takes some of the sting off what has been a lengthy and unpleasant experience (via Gambia!).

I just turned my light up entrance on and the options are malfunctioning. The colors quickly fade and then the whole set freezes and won’t change modes

So.. they’re telling me I’ll have to send the entire set back with a label they’ll provide
From there, they will send me an entire new arena set
I’m not really trusting of that seeing as others have been told there’s no replacements and instead offering refunds
This is so sketchy

Basically it boiled down to me sending back my whole set and once the tracking updated to “in transit” then they would release my replacement order with a new order # I was skeptical of the shipping with it being FedEx and I asked what if package(s) were lost in transit and was told if that happened I’d just get a refund. She knew I was fearful of the worst so she said the other option was a partial refund of $50 so I just went ahead and accepted the $50 As much as I’d love a replacement, I’m not putting this thing back out into the world and be at the mercy of FedEx. It is what it is, I guess. I was a “lock” for the next crowdfund but I’m not so sure as of right now. Depends on what is offered and if I’m just after the figures I’ll just wait and get them on the secondary market.

I always check this thread for potential updates and never fails it’s about resell estimates.. The annoying part of it to me is that it goes on and on in the same circular arguments, and will continue to do so for at least a year. Because when the ring starts filtering out, both full sets and individual pieces will start selling for big numbers, so those people will claim to have been "right" then once everything is out the market will crash due to a comparative glut and the people who think it won't be worth anything will say they were "right", when in reality neither side will be "right" until about a year/year and a half from now when the market has settled and supply/demand can really be gaged. That said, I do think it's incredibly unlikely that the figures will be under $100 on the regular, consider older Elites and older Ultimates made in higher numbers regularly sell for close to double that.

The biggest issue for international orders is the failure to include the tracking number in the shipping notification email, for me terrible service. I had to email for the ring and got a response two days later. For macho man there was no response to email and I had to call international customer services. In my opinion if you do it right the first time, you reduce unnecessary calls etc to your customer services. Also I thought the shipping to Belgium from the USA and then to Gambia and then to the UK was probably why it was 14.95 usd, too long winded, although the Macho Man came direct to the UK from the USA, funny that.

After being told they couldn’t update my address for macho as it was ready to ship I’ve now waited a week and still not shipped. CS there really sucks.

just got my email telling me the label has been created for my macho man. now let’s see how long it takes to actually receive the figure
edit: after looking at it on the shop app, apparently the label was created 13 days ago. so uhhh, there’s that.

Mattel finally sent me the shipped email for macho. Still saids it pending. But the fact they sent the shipped email gives me hope. Will update if it actually ships out. Update mattel finally shipped macho today. The shipper has it says it will here Monday.

"August 31" we're now in October, still no Macho Man. The ring has several issues, still no answer from Mattel Creations. Their customer service is non existent.

My Macho is in my city , so now my fun begins , tracking it down and hopefully rerouting it or holding for pickup somewhere. smh. im wondering what would happen if they got it sent back or dliver it to my old address and i cant get ahold of it. what happens then?? this is so unnecessary...all they had to do was change the address update i gave them for my arena months ago. or even responded to my email requests....very sad.
