Agreed, but not only will this ensure more people preorder, but good chances this added value entices people who have already preordered to buy multiples. You could probably end up selling just the commentator booth/accessories online for $100. People are more likely to pay a premium for what they do want. They may not be able to justify the $250 for everything, but they would be willing to drop $100 just for that Macho Man figure or the neon entrance stage. IF we get Doink backed, I could legitimately see everyone who backs 2 of these sets to get everything here for free, plus a near $800-1000 profit margin. 3 Ultimates that are approximately 1 of 7000 - easily 200-300 each. Macho moreso due to his massive popularity. Ring 300-400 Stage 200-300 Commentary stuff 50-100 Even if you're conservative 200 + 200 + 200 (Figs) + 300 (Ring) + Stage (200) + Commentary stuff (100) = $1200 (on a $500 investment) + all this cool exclusive stuff. call me a flipper or whatever you want, but only reason i backed 3 (keeping one for myself) of these is to completely resell some of these for those that complained about this whole project from the start and will complain later that they missed out one some of the goodies that came with this project because they didn’t back it so i just can just sit here and laugh at em lol |

I don’t think they should have limited this addition to people who back before 8/13, but still a good addition. I really have to consider backing this now. Macho Man is likely a repaint of the Ultimate 8 figure, but that’s fine.
THIS is how you convince people that are on the fence. Not by strong arming them.

I still don''t think it will hit 5000, even with macho and that added now. Bit late really and reeks of desperation. Should have been part of the 5k package from the off.

Not by strong arming them. i disagree. it’s definitely a better way to have it limited to 8/13 because if it doesn’t reach to a certain number by next friday, it basically means that the project won’t go into production at all because we’re still a LONG way away from the targeted number |

And there's 0 shame in buying multiples to flip when EVERYONE has an equal opportunity to buy this thing for an entire month. |

I haven’t read the whole thread but one issue for me is the wait. I’m a patient guy and love to preorder and don’t think twice about waiting 2-3 months to get something. But an entire year?? That’s a long damn time.
