Looks like the metallic color on green Liger's chest harness rubs off quite easily. I got a couple of black spots from where his hair was rubbing against the harness.

The modern Liger mask has ridged horns like on the storm figures but also a row of teeth and long fangs on top and bottom which none of the storm figures have...they only have the long fangs on the top. The horns being an accent color instead of red is something that is very recent I think, from around the time of his retirement tour. |

So I take it the bloom is off the rose for Liger, eh? Not much talk about these recent releases anywhere and prices lowered less than a month after release.
While, I do think that's too bad, I feel like Storm shouldve just given people what they wanted by this point..a Kishin Liger. I'm always seeing people asking for that version. Also some headway into producing other wrestlers wouldve helped too....Tiger Mask, Ultimo Dragon, etc.

You really can't do this many repaints of the same character and expect people to keep buying or keep up the same level of interest. I have the previous four, but this might be it. The purple, I can't even track that gear down. I have all kinds of Liger material, including a magazine that goes through all of his different gear and looks. The purple wasn't even in there, anywhere. It just reeks of a quick money grab with no thought, and it'll likely be the lowest seller of them all because of that. I'm shocked they went with these three before they went with Kishin Liger. |

Ah, mystery solved, thanks. That looks like Akira Nogami behind him so this attire might from 90 or 91. Weird, that 2 of these recent variant releases are from Nogami matches. |

Never seen that match before but I know of that attire from when the Great Sasuke beat Liger for the IWGP jr title(looks to be the same outfit anyway).
Biggest wants from me on from that mold.
-J-Crown title win gold outfit....not expecting accessories for all of the belts but it would be criminal if they made this with no belts whatsoever. Hell, I'd be okay with just 1-3 belts and maybe the trophy.
-half red/blue from his Tokyo Dome match with Koji Kanemoto.
-Kishin Liger.
Also was thinking itd be a really cool attention to detail for a post-match alternate head with his hair tangled in his horns. That was pretty frequent back when it was actually his hair.

I'm totally butt hurt on the paint apps being slightly off on my red Liger's mask...as if the paint stamp was off by a millimeter.Wish I had caught while it was still in the box.It is minor so I'm not even sure I could've seen it while in the box. Has anyone else gotten that on any of their Ligers?

Finally found contact info for Storm to try and see if I can get a replacement head for my red Liger. Not really expecting to get a repsonse but costs me nothing to email them.
