Last post in this thread until the links are available. Mattel is incredibly tone deaf to issues like preorders and availability of their products. Their retail partners specifically Target have been atrocious. They have done nothing to correct this. I’m done playing nice. They have failed. Pretty much this. |

So, just a little insight - I was mildly involved with a video panel for SDCC this year, and the submission date was like July 7. It's not like they just recorded this yesterday. I can't promise Mattel was in the exact same situation, but it's likely that's why pre-sale announcements and stuff don't match up with reality.
Still, if it were me, knowing how things can change, I'd be more careful with how I phrased things on the panel!

Maybe the people who deal with target and make these deals,,,not the creators who have Jack Sh*t to do with Walmart, or target or Amazon unless they need to make a quick milk run? |

So...who else should get the blame? Themselves and their department and organization. Also retailers like Target as well, who are their partners. Sounds like massive corporate failure. And as the faces Bill and Co get to shoulder the frustration of the collector base. |
