My S5 were fine, but the cheaper components were noticeable. Just got 36 Jericho, and it's got stains and dents on the figure. The S4 Cody I got also had this problem, with ball joints on the shoulders that looked like they were cut with a razor.
Has anybody else seen these issues arising, or am I just unlucky?

Definitely. It feels like they've started using a different plastic since series 3 or 4. I can't get Santana or Ortiz to stand because their legs are basically rubber.

I've been looking for a series 2 MJF in the store but they all have turned in feet. Seen the problem with a lot of these figs now

My S4 Cody also had a spot on his shoulder that looked like it was sliced with an Xacto knife. There have been some questionable QC decisions. More troubling to me is that when there were issues early in the line, Jeremy was very responsive and transparent about the problems and then what they did to correct them.
I haven't seen a peep about some of these changes that have seemingly been going on since S4 or so. This line is way too young to be making changes on materials and QC every set or two.

I'm still appalled by the new belts. How do you go that dang cheap that dang quickly on things. I have the Riho figure and the second Mox figure and the womens belt vs the mens is night and day. I've never seen such a sharp and severe decline in accessory quality before. There's no way the line is hurting for money this fast, is there?

The elbow and knee joints are crazy-rubbery. Not sure why they went from the harder plastic in the early series to this crap.

Only problem I've had is that every series seems to have 1-2 that are SUPER loose. I was really looking forward to U5 Hangman, but he can't even stand up, or leans forward.

There’s definitely been a decrease in quality over time. The joints in Series 1 still feel way better than any of the sets after, and again there seems to be a decrease after Series 3. The legs are loose, the elbow joints feel fragile, etc.
Hope they can improve it soon. Most of my figure collecting is the AEW line now since it’s by far the most entertaining product out there right now to me.

I work at Target , I came in today and to my delight a fresh case of series 6 on the pegs from this morning. Just bought all of series 4 with no issues. However , I didn’t get a single figure from this case. Penta and Fenix with splatters of paint covering their masks, Jericho with glue dropping down the forehead , MJF looking like Nick Gage cut his face open (without the blood) with slits covering his forehead. Hager with black paint bleeding down his thighs. That’s what I come to expect from Mattel, not Jazwares. To say I’m pissed is an understatement. Probably the only case of these I’ll find locally unless they actually hit GameStop as shown so it sucks lol. Oh well.

Also the tights don’t pop at all, isn’t it supposed to be gloss shiny black and neon toxic green? It’s ended up like a really dark grey and a dull pea green. The whole figure looks very muted, that’s the only way I can describe it. A shame because the attire was awesome in the match against Darby.

I recieved s4 Cody today and my tshirt is oddly coloured looks like it's ment to be blue with red around the sides and mine is green and orange didn't know if mine was a 1 off or not |

I picked up the smyths Cody with the ring yesterday. His skin tone and the plastic used are completely different and superior to the new stuff. He is better than series 1 (more reddish colour and less ghoul looking) also. I prefer the Smyths Cody if I’m honest. The newer figs I’ve got all now look dull and feel a bit rubbery by comparison to the pinker skin tone and harder feeling plastic. Hmmmm.

I love the AEW figures but yeah they have some issues, Its only been 1 year though... so I'm sure the future will be bright.
