Mattel is absolutely terrible at distribution. I mean god awful. Doesn’t matter how well you design a figure if collectors cannot get their hands on them at reasonable prices. But they will blame us as part of the game and it’s just toys and whatever. It should not be this difficult to purchase an action figure. Bill and Steve don’t care, they have theirs put away in their collection, and they are good.

I’ve been a collector of Mattel for YEARS and this weekend has been the most frustrating nonsense I’ve ever dealt with because of this very thing. Can't agree with this enough. The ring/entrance stage actually had me at the most excited I've been for this line in years. But a so-so set of reveals, a hot mess across the board on launches/pre-orders, and the general frustration of collecting this line really has me considering giving it a break. I don't NEED 8 Jake Roberts figures, or 4 Brutus Beefcakes, or whatever number Macho Man I'm on. This hobby just doesn't feel like it's worth the aggravation right now for *mass produced* action figures. SAME HERE!!!!! I made a few financial adjustments last week to be able to do the crowdfunding I was so stoked for it! Then between the frustration of the weekend, the low numbers on the crowdfunding, and just daily nonsense with all preorders and I think I’m gonna just pocket the money instead. Or I won’t do it unless it would some how reach 8K and I can get everything, which doesn’t seem likely. It’s weird to be insanely stoked for something to complete disappointment in a matter of a week. And I’m not even mad at Mattel about it, I’m mad at myself for falling for the hype. |

All show out of stock for me except L12 Studd. Which... after people seeing him in droves at the store, I'm not gonna even bother pre-ordering. He'll be the next Cena.

Dammit, Brutus went up and is gone again. Had him in my cart! This irritates me to no end - I still have a preorder that I am waiting for them to ship out, yet they are putting up stock? Ship all the preorders before putting any more stock up on the site, dammit. |

Target is infamous for only listing a handful of figs at a time at the randomest times, been that way since the Elite TakeOver line. Thing that shocks me is Studd still being available this long. Change in Mattel's packing, maybe more stock at Target, but less chance any of the others come up today.
