Hi Out of the classic superstars 1/3000 undertaker or the classic superstars 3 pack which do you think is the better set? Which is more expensive?   thanks. |

At the time I was SO happy I found that Taker 3 pack. I wanted the grey and purple Takers so badly, they hadn’t made a classic Taker yet at that time so those were highly sought after. (Aside from the series 1 Taker which had white boots and a titantron live body for whatever reason.)
The deluxe aggression figure never interested me because it basically was the standard release except it came with a coat. The standard Deluxe Classic even came with a hat and had those same crappy painted on stirrups over the kick pads mold. The triple pack has real stirrups which look great.
The 1/3000 goes for a bit more today but both go for a good sum. Back in the day that triple pack was pricey, it’s kind of dropped off now as Jakks stuff has gotten less popular. It’ll come back around though when people get nostalgic for it again.

The 3 Faces is more expensive, the 1/3000 you can get cheap if you wait on it, at least in the UK.
I don’t like the head scan on the 1/3000, but the real feel beard is a nice touch. Coming with the coat too gets it points from me.
I’m maybe a bit biased, but I love the 3 pack. It was my childhood favourite set and I loved it to bits. I know it has its flaws, but out of the two choices I’ll always pick the 3 pack.

3 faces is the better one….I remember being so stoked when I found it at Walmart (back in the days when one could actually find figures there consistently) …..looking back at it now though it looks plain, not a whole lot of detail especially on the AB Taker but it’s still cool, just imagine what Mattel could do with it if they decided to remake that set these days….I never owned the 1/3000 figure, never really cared for that one

3 faces of taker is a great pack captures the career of the undertaker very well. Have one for trade/sale if anyone is interested.
Not so keen on the head scan on the 1/3000.

I'm in the minority I guess. The 1/3000 Taker is much, much better than any figure in the 3 pack.
