I love hardcore Cactus Jack and 2004/06 Mick Foley. Not as big of a fan of Mankind and Dude Love but the figures look good. Something about Cactus Jack just turns it up a notch

I don't usually chime in on leaks but it’s getting a little out of hand. These leaks are completely fabricated guys. So were the previous leaks about a Razor and Diesel Ultimate wave. Diesel is an Ultimate in the New Gen Arena so not so not so much of a “fabrication” lol

It was a fabrication but you can choose to believe whatever you like.

If someone gets butthurt over a fabricated series that doesn’t end up coming to fruition, then that sounds like a problem for them, not me or anyone else.

Mankind in 1996 is where it was at. His work was so good. C’mon now. ‘97 and ‘98 Mankind was pretty entertaining too. That Kane match at Survivor Series ‘97 is actually really entertaining…as is Stampede ‘97 with Trips. Also a couple decent matches are the three way cage match between him, Rock, Shamrock in fall of ‘98 and the PPV match he had with Shamrock in ‘98

Same was true of Goldust.

Great matches, but the character was far less intriguing as a babyface. Same was true of Goldust. As soon as he turned into a face and especially after the shirt he just wasn't the same. I didn't start watching until late '98 but, having attended his lecture series around 2000, all I could think of was "Mankind is just Mick Foley in a mask"

Once they introduced Mick Foley as essentially a "4th character", there wasn't much discernible difference between Mankind and Mick Foley. Brown shirt, deranged Mankind is best Mankind.

Has Mattel said if they were doing the November SDCC? Or is the November one for something else? I just feel like this past SDCC was light.

Would be really cool if they could just say Adam Cole is cancelled. There’s no point in dragging this out any further

I guess the reveals we get throughout the year now kind of take away from SDCC. It used to be New York Toy Fair and SDCC were major for action figures. Anymore they're a bit different. But we also don't go as long between reveals, either.

But we also don't go as long between reveals, either. I think this is more the case. We get smaller reveals more often. Also, you now have AEW in the mix and, frankly, in comparison to some of their reveals... You almost wonder if it's less a case of "Well, the Empire State Building is small" and more a case of "Burj Khalifa is just absurdly oversized"

I’ve accepted that we’re not getting that Adam Cole and probably not getting burnt Fiend either. Now I’m just waiting for the inevitable poopstorm that will engulf this board when the new Elite 92 lineup is revealed

It’ll never happen but more Garganos wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Eh idk or move up some. Would be nice to see chainsaw Charlie get released a lil sooner
