Queen of The Ring to be held in Saudi Arabia in October

In bad taste regarding the location or not, I'm finding it difficult to get excited about Charlotte winning a tournament.

I was hoping there would still be a King of the Ring. My final 4 would have been Shinsuke, Corbin, Xavier Woods & Chad Gable. QOTR is cool tho.

Say what you will about WWE and Saudi Arabia, getting women’s matches to happen over there is a really big thing. Not bad news.

Also calling underdog Liv winning

Saudi allowing a women's match and calling it progressive is like an oil cartel donating to a wildlife fund and calling it environmentally responsible.

The only reason I tune into the Saudi shows is to hear that awesome Godsmack they use for most of the WWE specials there. One of the best PPV theme songs since the Ruthless Aggression era

Don't know how I feel about this.
There's some complicated geo-political nature to American-Saudi relations and the geopolitics of the middle east moving forward that effect my outlook.
With Foreign oil distribution up under the Biden administration; The Saudi 2030's plan I would think would not go at such fast pace. But; I assume they also understand the state of reknewable energy and this is just one administration that can change in four years. The Saudi's have been focused on becoming bigger service and entertainment based economy

So I am sure the vanity project of trying to be somewhat secular; atleast maybe to the West by hosting this would be good PR. And very good PR to recover the last very negative PR over the Saudi shows.

May it benefit female wrestlers and create growth and inspiration; sure. But it seems like calculated vanity project to project an image. I think that's the way it comes out when you put on the 3-D glasses.

Now; I get the blood money mindset. As much as the morals of it are off. I get WHY WWE goes. However I always have hated the Saudi shows and found them garbage. Outside of the Godsmack songs. I love Godsmack.

But; I mean the crown prince has some cool ideas; if they were 10 years prior. Like the match cards just piss me off.
Greatest Royal Rumble really? 50 man Rumble for nothing? Triple H Vs. John Cena; ummmmmmm okay. World Cup Tournament; The DX Vs. Brothers of Destruction. Like; WWE could of totally got away with that in 2009-2010 and it would of been stellar.
Hell I think if Shawn should of came back for another match; he should of came back in like 2013-2014 to work Bryan or Punk. I think 2018 was just to late.
Randy Orton Vs. Triple H? Taker Vs. Goldberg.

I never found these shows at any level entertaining; they're like these overblown house shows or like me waking up from a hot sweat chugging bottle of water having some dream I was at some weird WWE PPV where Shawn Michaels comes back and is bald.

they definitely want the publicity,but that said hopefully it’ll end up an interesting way to elevate someone new. i haven’t loved the saudi shows overall,but there have been some positives.

Nothing says "Queen of the Ring" like having to wrestle in a full body potato sack.
