On paper a pretty good card and if given time Reigns/Cena,Edge/Rollins & Beliar/Banks(if it even happens) all could produce a good to great matches. One of the stronger cards in recent memory for the WWE. Im excited about the card but my concern lies with what comes next for the next few months. You gotta figure both Cena (especially) and Edge (perhaps more short term) are both going away for a while after tonight. So arguably your two biggest matches (throw in Goldberg/Lashley in there as well for a third because Goldberg will be gone after tonight) are going to lead to nothing storyline wise because the need for part timers.

Isn’t the WWE Draft Lottery (pointless) coming up soon?

How did Balor end up loosing his opportunity at Reigns? Corbin attacked him during the contract signing, Corbin tried to sign it, Cena attacked Corbin, Cena ended up signing the contract. It was an incredibly dumb way booking wise to get from point A to point B.

It was an incredibly dumb way booking wise to get from point A to point B. Balor was supposed to call out Cena like 2 weeks ago but they scrapped the whole angle I guess

This "Baron Corbin has lost everything" gimmick has been the most interesting thing he's done in years.

Corbin should carry a donation jar with him down the aisle.

Cedric Alexander Jeff Hardy Keith Lee Ricochet Cesaro Finn Bálor Kevin Owens Sami Zayn Shinsuke Nakamura War Raiders
and what ever happened to Shotzi/Tegan and Toni Storm? I didn’t see SmackDown last night.

Ya thats a huge problem for WWE and has been for mostly the last decade, depending on older legends who are basically retired to carry the big programs and PPVs a few times a year.Once you have to go back to the monthly product and roster for a few months things like a ton of star power, plus the brand split really waters things down.Your top end talent without the old timers are Reigns,Orton,Styles,McIntrye,Lashley,Rollins & New Day and that's it.They badly need to create a handful of new credible stars to mix in with those talents and to carry the company forward and also so they don't have to keep going back to the old timers.
With the talent AEW is bring in and the steam their getting plus MNF coming back I can easily see RAW falling under a million views on a constant bases going forward.

They waste all this time between the big four PPVs to end up bringing back part time guys like Goldberg hoping it will draw a bigger audience. The problem is everybody knows that's what's going on, so Raw and Smackdown and even some of the smaller PPVs feel pointless. It's like they'd rather be like boxing or UFC and only do the big PPVs, if they could get away with it.
