I am not someone who complains about food but my recent purchase of Banza Pizza "made with chickpeas" left me so disgusted I sent a message to their website. I'm guessing "made with chickpeas" means it's gluten friendly but I bought it simply because it seemed it may be better for those needing less carbs but also the size seemed pretty good for the value. It was not too big but for the low price was bigger than most of your other personal size pizzas.
I ate a little bit and wound up spitting it out on the plate it was so bad. I ate a little bit more and swallowed but wound up throwing everything else away. I was so mad I sent a message to the company. I told them my disappointment but also told them I WANT NOTHING in return other than for the company to re-work their recipe. You could not taste bread, sauce or even cheese. It was like tasting a disgusting dough and nothing else.
I seriously hope people will avoid this disgusting pizza. Again, I'm not asking for anything from the company but am simply warning users to avoid this item as it is very sickening.

You ate "Banza Pizza made with chickpeas" and act surprised that it tasted like crap? lol I guess I'm a dummy but the packaging looked like it was a major company that should be trusted for quality. Maybe I should stick to the more fattening, multi billionaire pizza companies from now on. What would you recommend, Nivro? Dominos? Pizza Hut? Little Caesars? Ledo? Papa John's? Please advise me as to what you would recommend. Please let me know what your 'go to' pizza is so I don't make me horrible mistake again!

Chain style my go to is pizza hut meat lovers or dominos brooklyn style....death row last meal choice, Giordanos If you're concerned with healthy stuff though just portion yourself. Nobody should be forced to eat chickpea pizza.

Sorry I came off as rude last night, I was just a bit ticked that I wasted money on this. It wasn't too much, it was just a bit more than a mama celeste (their quality has gone down hill too) but it was a bit bigger. I was excited to get it but it had to be the worst pizza I had. The lean cuisine made from cauliflower was pretty awful to.

Frozen pizza Digiorno is the way to go. I bought the healthy cauliflower crust pizza I enjoyed it but it's not for everyone. Best bet is to just to go the a regular pizzeria as that's always better than frozen. Pizza Hut is easily the best chain pizza.

I guess my go to pizza would just be my wife’s homemade pizza or Original’s the pizza shop down the street.

You’re not supposed to have high expectations for frozen pizza. It’s part of the experience.

Sounds like the plastic wrap & the box would have tasted better.

Tried Digiorno once, couldn't finish that after a couple bites. I'll stick to Red Baron, thank you very much.
Fixed pita bread pizzas for myself some time ago, need to get back into that.

I am shocked that the key ingredient in falafel and hummus didn't work out as a pizza base.
Now I kinda want falafel.

Unfortunately, such situations happen, personally, I came across similar problems many times. Then I decided to read reviews before making an order. I found pissedconsumer website, which provides overview/reviews of any product, cafe, service, or store. It helps to make the right choice. For example, check out all the info and waffle house phone number here.

The Trader Joes Vegan Meat Lovers Pizza is pretty good if you want something healthier and still kind of hearty. Not sure the carb count though.

I would suggest trying to eat lots of fresh fruit, veggies and meats with only complex carbs like oats or rice. make sure to get the nutrition you need while keeping the calories in check.
that way when you get pizza you can splurge a bit and just get whatever your preferred pizza is, calories be damned.

This is mostly it, really. There's no secret to weight loss. I'm a big fatso right now, but around 9 years ago, I lost 60 lbs in 6 months doing Weight Watchers, which is just a simplified calorie counting method. I literally spent the six months subsisting on McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, and Chipotle.
