I’ve seen 2 of each Austin and Flair come in and out of Target twice now. I got the set from Ringside. The Austin is good but it’s just not very exciting as an Ultimate. The shirt is probably the coolest part imo. Some soda cans or a cooler could have saved it a bit from being redundant.
I honestly kind of think they should have done Austin in jeans with the removable jacket as an ultimate. So pretty much just redo the DM4 Austin but do the jacket like UE Fiend/Bret style. Maybe they’ll do that since doing Austin again makes sense.

Honestly, for a more street clothes Austin, I think I would have gone with the jean shorts look like his Hall of Fame figure, have the camo hunting jacket, hat, and one or two shirts. |

Got an Austin and a flair off target.com. Saw an Austin in store at target and grabbed it for the double up. I love the austin figure and consider it one of my favorite ultimates to date. Not a huge flair fan but this figure is great too. I had originally ordered 2 Austins and a flair from Amazon. Canceled the order after getting the 2nd Austin in store.

Just opened my Austin and it’s great. The heads do fit but it takes more than a child’s strength to pop on and off but the shirt is stretchy as hell and fits on the body perfect with no struggle.
I was thinking earlier how he’s the most diverse/universal UE so far. He can face Bret, Rock, HBK, HHH, and any of them could represent actual matches. Great figure, now I gotta find that flair

Really enjoyed my Austin after I opened it today. Head scan options are good. The shirt is GREAT. I love the hat and the gold chain and the vest. I also love that it came with the blue strap title belt because I didn't own that one yet. I agree that it would have been cool to have another accessory like a beer can or something.
My only real complaint is the hands. I understand that they can't design middle fingers. But I wish they would have made hands that had separate articulation or something so that we could put them into the middle finger position if we wanted to. Using the "YES" hands on Austin is kind of a waste of time.

idk I'm getting bothered trying to buy one, I saw one a week ago and now that I'm back and interested, the flairs are piling up everywhere because they're only buying scsa

My favorite thing about the UE SCSA is that he can finally do an actual Stone Cold Stunner, thanks to the butterfly joints and double jointed elbows!
My only complaint is I wish they would have included the newer head most recently seen on the Royal Rumble figure instead of that horribly old and outdated one that's been around for like 10 years. Even the True FX couldn't save that head sculpt

I canceled my Amazon Austin after getting one from the Target app. I’ve also seen one in store since then.
I was also able to get a Flair in store at a Target, but I’m going to let my Amazon order ride on that one in hopes of getting a second one at some point. If it never happens, at least I have one.

Based on the accessories, this time period is 98 so it makes sense to have 1. I guess a 2nd wouldn't have hurt but I bet MOC collectors would have had an issue lol. |

I know that it wouldn't have been accurate to have two but yes it does bother me. I like symmetry with things and certain characters have certain looks in my head. In my brain, from my frame of reference, Austin needs two.
But, again, it wouldn't be accurate, so it's just a preference thing for me that I wish he had two.

As seen on TikTok I tried to do a headswap and it just doesn't sit right on the UE body mold, unfortunately. The head is 'dangling on a stick' basically. Not sure if that will be adjusted in the future but I'm looking forward to a version of that head that DOES fit the articulation of that body for exactly that reason. |
