The title here makes it sound like they're just doing this of their own volition.
Imagine...plastic melting under the duress of forced hot air.

He obviously had the hairdryer on it for way too long. You've got to do the heat in short bursts to avoid that sort of damage. ANY plastic is going to melt if you expose it to heat long enough. Oh, and why the is he heating up a SWAPPABLE head anyway? Jeez, and this guy's an influencer?

He normally doesn't have issues whenever he uses the blow dryer, but yeah the two pack Rock doesn't require heat lol

Just use a microwaved bowl of water. Works everytime

Even if you do need the heat to loosen things up, a heat gun or a hair dryer is just asking for trouble.
Just boil some water.

I've done exactly one headswap in my lifetime (that wasn't intended to be done like, out of the package), and when browsing for tips and coming across a hairdryer or hot water, it just made perfect sense.

Clearly he wasn’t paying attention to how long he was heating them. Because with the Rock the first thing he said after he heated them he didn’t know how long the hairdryer had moved from where he had it.
