I’m also of the mindset that Rikishi is probably not available anymore. He’s very popular and a lot of his characters are very toyetic. His last figure was what, 4 years ago?

Lex has had sort-of recent shirts in the WWE shop, and with the Icons doc, I thought that meant a small push. It's kinda weird there's been no figures and no rumors even, though. Coordination across WWE media properties and licensing partners isn't great in general. Lots of moving pieces of course, but it's not surprising. There's a decent chance Lex has a Pro Wrestling Tees Micro Brawler coming up this month, though. |

Rikishi is a strange case, though. I can't think of any recent acknowledgement or reference to the bulk of his career. Even his HOF induction was focused on fairly short run as Rikishi. Not sure if there's some kind of heat there that he wouldn't want to acknowledge it or if it's just a weird WWE thing. But I'm both not shocked and super disappointed that all we got were two pretty similar Rikishi figures when a Headshrinkers or Make a Difference Fatu figure would have been a pretty easy repaint of the Umaga sculpt. |

I really wish WWE would sign up Ahmed Johnson and Al Snow. Those are 2 massive gaps in Mattel's line. And in Ahmed's case, he's only had a BCA. The guy's an IC champ and headlined PPVs back in the day. Imagine if he had been the New Gen Arena exclusive....instead of yet another Diesel.

I wish WWE and Mattel could come to an agreement where they could get Wrestlers signed to just an action figure only contract and not a whole legends deal.
Like sign Jeff Jarrett to a WWE action figure only deal that doesn’t restrict him from making money at conventions or on pro wrestling tees websites. I think you could get almost everybody to agree to a deal like that. I mean who doesn’t want an awesome elite figure made of themselves.

Let’s try to stay on the topic of of guys who have already had figures and whether they are still available for another or not. Everybody wants Jeff Jarrett, Al Snow, and Ahmed but that just doesn’t seem realistic at this point.

I would add Madusa and Sherri to this list. Madusa/Alundra was included in WWE Battlegrounds last year but I wouldn't be surprised if her deal has since lapsed.

Holy crap...I haven't thought about Alundra for a minute, but the last few sales of her figure on eBay have closed above retail. Nuts....I got that figure for $5 on clearance. |

I would love a Headshrinkers Fatu. We've gotten half of so many tag teams at this point that I wouldn't even care if they did it this way now. Rikishi doesn't have a PWTs store right? He's obviously on really good terms with WWE. He's a guy I would guess is still on a deal.
