Just need to be patient with these. You’ll probably never see it in stores but if you can wait a few months after it’s release you should be able to get it on the secondary market for $30-35. I know that’s not as good as $20 but it’s a hell of a lot better than $60. I just bought Brutus and Kama both this week for right around $30 shipped each.

I've made peace with the fact that if I want this one, I'm probably going to have to pony up $50 eventually. It is what it is though I guess.

I've gotten all the collectors editions ive wanted for 30 or under. Kama and Bulldog x2 were 30. Billy Graham, Michael Hayes, Sherri I got for 20-25. Just gotta have patience (I know, it's hard to have patience when you want a collectors item)

Why would they make a figure that so many collectors want so difficult to find. Why couldn’t they just include it in the regular elite line so we can get it on RSC. My Walmart never adds new stuff. The mass market and buyers dont want these legend figures. The reason they are collector edition figures is because only a small portion of the market gets them. Case in point is the crowd funding project. They are struggling to find 5000 collectors in the ENTIRE WORLD ( or however many countries open to purchase) to buy it. Its mind boggling to me that its going that way, but also a eye opener as to just how niche this community is "struggling" eh?

Because as we’ve seen with the Mattel creations ring there isn’t as many hardcore collectors as we think. If they mass produced this character it would be a major peg warmer The legends line at Target disagrees with you. Im not sure it does. Legends figures are all I see at target elite wise. Cena, Vader, volkov, heenan.

Demolition and the Legion of Doom would def jump him standing by his lonesome on my shelf lol

Would love to get two of this fig. Legends/flashbacks are definitely the hardest to find/most sought after Mattel figs.

How about we get Barbarian first? There's a non-POP Warlord already and no Barbarian from any time in his career.

Sure it's be nice to have an official Barbarian, but if you're good at customs it's a simple fix.

Warlord is available to order on Amazon UK. It’s temporarily out of stock, but worth a shot.

The strategy is easy. Buy it off eBay. If you want it THAT BAD you'll pay what you will pay. If it's all just meh to you, pass. Simple. this post is one reason why it’s so difficult to get these. you’re fueling scalping by doing this

The Stooges hung for a year until Patterson passed away. Mae Young and Blassie are still chilling at some of my stores.

I haven't seen a Kama in stores but was in stock many times online Wal-Mart, that's how I got mine. As for the others you named, yep, seen them all posted.

If you can't afford $10 over store price, maybe you shouldn't be buying toys in the first place.

This Warlord would not rot on the shelf if it was released in the regular elite line. The only classic superstars that shelf warm is the Legends Cena and Bobby the brain in a weasel suit. Don't forget Hall of Fame Tito

I don't believe this is the case, at least not to the extent that you're making it out to be here. Mattel made major mistakes in distribution with a couple of flashbacks 5-6 years ago, and I believe the demand has changed significantly. Also noteworthy, the ratings indicate that there aren't as many eyes on the current product as before, and I can see that reflected on the pegs in my area. The majority of the fans can/will only buy so many Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Finn Balor figures, etc. If you look at the current rosters, WWE is not producing new names and making them big stars at a high rate. Outside of Dominik Mysterio, Damian Priest, and Amos, (all mid-carders) we have the overwhelming majority, and the main event guys many, many times. To some extent, the guys on top have been exhausted in figure form over the life of the Mattel line. By comparison, chase DiBiase and chase Beefcake are $90 figures on Ebay. I think there is room for Mattel and company to adjust their distribution numbers a bit here.

The only classic superstars that shelf warm is the Legends Cena and Bobby the brain in a weasel suit. Don't forget Hall of Fame Tito They made major mistakes with distribution, and it is easy to see: - 1991 was probably the least popular year of the Golden Era, and Mattel gives prominent placement to Tugboat, Berzerker, and Warlord, then Walmart creates entire pegs for 6 months dedicated to Earthquake and Typhoon. Earthquake and Typhoon moved well initially, but they just kept coming in for 6 months, over and over. That never happens with Elites, we always get a new series before then. If they did that with the regular Elite line, you'd see the same thing. - It appears that Cena has finally been exhausted, and it is easy to see in the current Legends line. Also, I've been staring at the same 3 Top Picks Cena figures at my Walmart for about a month now. - Tito was over produced, same with Weasel Suit Heenan, probably both due to other names dropping out of the series. I'd argue Weasel Suit Heenan was probably a mediocre choice to begin with. If he were in the red sequins jacket and bow tie he likely would have moved better in regular case numbers.

Any chance ringside will carry him like they've done with other collector's edition figures?
