What are some times when a superstar had a name that didn’t sound great and it actually sounded better with the last name being dropped

I hated it initially, but the jump from Bryan Danielson to Daniel Bryan actually ended up working quite well. Soon we’ll see the return of the original name, but that was one occasion where an E name change worked.

If you’ve ever listened to New Day’s podcast you know how Big E feels about his name… so ima side with him and say Big E Langston is the better name.
Still hoping Matt Riddle comes back one day.

Rusev hits way better than Alexander Rusev I guess Miro is better than Miroslav Barneyashev as well. I think his full name would sound better. Especially with Justin Roberts announcing it. |
