I have a MOC The Franchise Shane Douglas WCW Toybiz. Though I know the $55 I paid for it a while back was a real good price, I've never seen one sold since. I was thinking about possibly trading or selling it. But, again, since I haven't seen one go MOC before, I have no clue what the value of it is. I was wondering if anyone had an idea of where I should place the value? I also was wondering why The Franchise figure is so hard to find? The Kidman and Vampiro figures, while valuable, seem to come around fairly often. And Mike Awesome, having been re-released, is easy to come by. But The Franchise seems like a different beast entirely. Did it have distribution issues? EDIT: I just noticed someone posted one on eBay earlier today asking for $350. This wasn't mine. Surely, this is someone just shooting for the fences?

It is not worth $350, but it has always been the most expensive figure in the series. Prices now are higher than they have ever been for Toybiz. Put $200 on it and see what your get. It could develop into a war. They are tough to find in great shape.
I saw Several Kidman figures a few months ago that went in the $60 - $75 range as I recall and I thought that was outlandish. Now it could probably go for more.

I have one loose and 10-11 years ago, I estimated the value at $50.

I don't know the value of this, just commenting on what an awesome figure this is. Had it back in the day and it got a lot of play in my feds.

I would say $150 for it in package. But older figures are in demand right now so it might go for more .

I'd agree with the $150 mark. Anything between $150 to $200 wouldn't really shock me. He's one of the hardest to get from the line and if someone is trying to cross the finish of putting together a Toybiz collection I can see them reaching on that one.
I always wanted to get one MOC for him to sign. I still have my original. It's opened but in good shape. When I met him I got the ECW figure signed, but I always wished I had this one to get too at the time. I've always kind of watched to see if anyone did the leg work of getting one signed and threw it up on ebay. I've never seen one, though. I was such a big ECW fan by the time 99 rolled around that I loved all of those guys getting WCW merch. So getting Bam Bam, Mike Awesome, Douglas, having Raven and Saturn, some of my favorite figures ever. I wish we could have gotten Lance Storm in particular, and Candido would have been amazing to finish Triple Threat, ironically in WCW. And man, did we need Public Enemy from a company. My WCW Toybiz and OSFTM ECW want list never getting more closure still feels like a fresh wound haha.

Frankly I wouldn’t give 5 cents for it but that’s just me….I’ve never been a fan of his so seeing him stand back away from all the fans & refuse to sign autographs or take pics at a local Buffalo Wild Wings about a month ago didn’t do anything but reinforce my dislike of Mr. Walmart….I guess he got a day off to come & act like the legend he is in his own mind in front of 55 people

I am a Signed figure guy and I'm kind of upset that Highspots didn't do mail in's for their signing recently. I would have definitely sent this in to it. Especially since they do COA's that are respected. Thanks for the help everybody. Think I'll be holding on to it for a little while longer. It's just so difficult to replace.

Was it a non signing and he just happened to be there to dine in or was it a scheduled signing. I have met Shane maybe 8 times and many in private settings and he treats everyone well. Funnily enough, on a daily basis if it was simply him eating at a BWW I'm sure all the people that hate him would say no one would even recognize him at a restaurant but maybe in this case people did. Also it was Target he was supposed to work with under a program meant to get athletes into the retail business and I don't even think he stuck around that long, though I don't remember his reason why.

Nope….it was an event that was scheduled with a meet n greet & a ring sat up in the parking lot for the show…..Ricky Morton & his son Kerry were also there, they were really cool taking pics, signing autographs & walking around talking to everyone as always ….Shane Douglas stood towards the back of the parking lot with sunglasses on & his arms folded the entire time to the point where fans just stopped trying to approach him to waste their time….he acted like a total d*ck

Speaking of Francine, did I see something today about some limited figure or brawler of hers coming out soon?

I’d say atleast $200 especially being MoC . This set was only released over seas so really the whole set is up there in price . Douglas and Vampiro were the ones worth the most . These figures are now 20 years old also one of the last sets from the final days of WCW .
