This is a strange one I noticed today. I have about 500 mattel figures, all "mint" loose and in plastic zip lock bags stores across 8 plastic storage crates.
Never played with - just opened and straight into storage.
I was going through them today and noticed an issue with quite a few noses becoming slightly flattened, scraped or having like a flat circle shaped dent in them. A few in particular was network Spotlight styles, elite mohawk sheamus, elite Enzo, DM flair.
Anybody else have this issue?? It's was really disheartening!

I haven't noticed that exactly but I offset the bags so they fit between each other by row. Problems I've had was forgetting to take some robes or coats off and staining happens.

What I do is I stack them head-to-toe and facing each other. The heads end up between the legs of the next guy, so there’s a space gap.

I’ve heard that Ziploc bags are actually not good for figure storage. Supposedly the chemicals break down after a few years and can mess up the paint and what not.
I don’t have a link at this moment, but there is an article talking about figure storage. Apparently there’s a company that actually sells these polyethylene (I think that’s the type) bags that don’t break down and mess up figures.
I love you.

www.gtzip.com/ziplock/P2pz.htmlI use those bags, and multiple tots. I have them staggered, and every once in a while, I will dump them out and restack them. I have way too many figures to display at once.
