I feel like I often have this dilemma as to whether or not to keep my figures MOC or , as they say…”let them breathe” I am curious as to what percentage of us do one, versus the other. Thank you in advance for indulging my interest.

I open all my figures. I couldn't possibly have as many as I do if I kept them MOC...I just don't have the space. The only figure I've kept in the packaging is the Slim Jim Macho Man, but even that I took out of the outer sleeve. I display is in the windowbox because it's perfect.

With vintage figures (Hasbro, LJN, and non-wrestling lines), I look for the most pristine cards possible.
Modern figures get the packing torn off and thrown straight in the trash.

I open all my wrestling figures except autographed ones and a B16 Ultimate Warrior.

The only ones I have kept MOC are Elite 19 Miss Elizabeth, Defining Moment Hogan and the Slim Jim Savage. Otherwise, I’ve always immediately opened them.

I’ve got double of some RSEs and Defining Moments. I keep AEW sealed because I get so few. I’ve got some box sets like FoF, UE, and Booty-Os. Jeff and HHH and Rock n Sock. I’ve got some Ultimate Editions sealed because I like all the stuff in the package next to them (80%would get toted and never seen). I’ve got some Bayley, Daniel Bryan, Undertaker, and Kane’s sealed. Entrance greats HBK and SDCC Undertaker.
Normal sets change too often, but I like keeping the exclusives with cool packaging or grabbing an extra if I can

I like to able to buy them new after they circulate through retail so I'm grateful for sealed/doubles collectors, but they're toys, they're made to be played with and not sit in a box like a statue

I keep mine MOC, but will eventually open a handful to display. I’m very selective with collecting and probably buy < 10 a year (most of which are Warrior, Savage, Bret, and Hogan).

Both. Although I’m opening less and less these days because my son won’t play with them anymore so they just would go into a bucket anyways.

MOC …..the only figures I have loose are a set of Galoob Steiner Brothers from 1990 ….the only reason those are loose is because getting them Moc these days costs a left arm & right kidney….I looked for a good long while on eBay to find one of each loose in mint condition (for whatever reason Scott was harder to find than Rick) ….I was finally able to land them both without a mark or scratch on either for a surprisingly decent price

Golden Era WWF collector (1985-1992). I open Mattel figures unless there is a chance of getting them signed. Only collect Jakks figures if they are or can be signed. All Hasbro/LJN purchased on card stay that way.

I play with them like an immature man baby. Is it weird? Yeah. But I think gambling is weird, so get off my back, Shiela!

I have three moc. Raw Metal Kane signed, LJN bendie Corporal Kirchner and BCA Blue Blazer. The Latter two are moc because my brother said to leave them that way. Otherwise I open everything. I much prefer having lose figures to display and pose. I don't buy for the intention of selling, so keeping them in the box has no use.

Mostly open them. Only have two MOC. A DM Bret and a Retrofest Flair, just because that packaging was great.

I let 'em breathe...I couldn't imagine how much room they'd take up otherwise. But I do have a small MOC collection.

I toy with the idea of keeping some MOC then always end up opening them. Right now I’ve not opened the jericho bubbly or macho slim Jim. See how long they last haha.

I keep them MOC unless I have more than one, then I'll open one. Then there are some I've bought loose too.
