So I was looking through tickets for WWE seeing if any were near SLC then I saw San Diego on Monday, was already on vacation there anyway, I am extremely excited as other than going to the big 4 ppvs, going to the Raw after these ppvs were next on my dream list, hope to see Keith Lee, Matt Riddle and AJ who are my favorites on the Raw brand.

This is the wrong section of the board for that. But have fun. I hope it’s a good show. Don’t leave early because there’s usually something fun once the show goes off the air. I got to see the Undertaker return once and beat up JBL. He was not supposed to be there.

Have fun, man. Live shows are great. TV can be a bit jarring, because you're gonna see firsthand some of production moves they've got to make to work around TV. I've seen two great examples of this. The first was a Smackdown I went to a few years back where the commercial break was scheduled partway through Stardust's entrance. Cody hops up on the crowd barrier, his music continues playing, and then they darken the lights for five minutes while he just holds the pose. That way when they come back from break, he's right where they left him, playing to the crowd. The other was during the WrestleMania 35 pre-show during the Hardy Boyz battle royal entrance. Music plays, they hit the ring...and then the music just keeps going...and going...and going...and going. All the while, everyone is just lingering in the ring, not really doing anything. I texted my brother to find out what was going on, and apparently it was a cut back to the pre-show desk for an extended discussion. Everyone in the stadium just sat listening to the Hardy Boyz entrance theme for close to ten minutes, lmfao.

I always enjoyed the house shows more than the TV shows. A lot of time standing around waiting for something to happen during tv tapings and watching backstage segments. Only positive with TV is that everyone is there instead of the ring announcer telling you that 2 or 3 guys weren't there that evening for live shows.

There was one dude in front of us dressed head to toe in Hardys gear, though, and he was loving it.

Enjoy! First show is always a lot of fun. Living in OVW territory, I’m lucky to say that for my first show I was second row for a theme park event in 2004 where World Champ Benoit showed up to work OVW Champ Matt Morgan. It was awesome.
