Missing the one between Taker and Dunne. I don't think there was one. The box that the Taker is in is Series 53 to 71. The Dunne box was used from 72 to 81. The only major thing that was changed was that the top part of the box that holds the peg hook went from black to white. There were some other minor changes like the placement of the series number and the size of the "First Time in the Line!" tag. Not enough change to really make a difference and add into the poll. |

The 4th pic was my favorite looking package but the best packaging is when itβs in the garbage and the figure is breathing that fresh air

I honestly donβt care about packaging at all. It goes right in the trash. But I hate the original packaging because it was a pain in the ass to open and get the figure out. So many tabs!

I liked 8 (the Taker here) except for the top. The Orton is the best of both. I liked 9 because of the contrasting red and white for the top and bottom. Plus red, black, and white always look appealing together. Some of these look better or worse depending on the figure and accessories or their placement. Too much empty space isn't good, but if it's balanced, it can look really nice. 7 is almost great but I disliked the grey/metal look. |

Around box #7 is when I thought we were turning the corner on great flashback figs to come. We got Harlem Heat, The Nasty Boys, Sid, Shamrock, the only Goldust that ever mattered, Pillman, ECW era Funk, Cactus Jack.

The original 6 designs are almost all pretty awful and bulky IMO. Especially the older they get. I dig anything after that. I could do without the Authentic badge on the current design, but they're otherwise sharp.
Can't wait to see the new design!

I'd have to say #7 is my favorite but the missing 2019 one is second place.
Not that it matters though, all the boxes end up in the trash.
