Interest in Ultimate Editions seems to be picking up since the New Gen Arena project, could you do a model similar to Premium Bandai, where individual figures have individual price points and production goals and pre-orders that stay open for a month or two for figures in the distant future?
For instance, Max Moon would have to be more expensive for the extra tooling, but it wouldn't have to sacrifice anything to meet the $30 retail price the mainline UE retail price, and also use the Mattel Creations site for slightly touched up rereleases of the most expensive figures on the aftermarket, so new collectors can get in at a fair price and older collector's value isn't effected because even when Premium Bandai does a rerelease the figures still double in value afterwards anyways
I'd want it for B grade and below characters like Savio Vega that wouldn't be so hot in the mainline, like Savio would come with red and nod cloth tops and pants and the figure itself would have painted details for Kwang as well as a masked head, or something like announcer red/black Jerry Lawler with puppies head, serious head, and smug laughing meme head, or blue/black Mr. Perfect with a slick hairdo head, poofy mid-match head, and 90s geometry track suit
Also could you use it for reruns or slight repaints of characters like Gorilla Monsoon, because I never found him and he's up there in value, same for King Harley Race, I'll probably have to bite the $300 bullet, but if there's a way to get it to customers without having to get a retailer's approval, that would be great, I'd rather pay $30 than $100 for some of these guys,thanks for reading.
