Yep and this is going to hit smaller companies like Chella, Zombie and Boss Fight even harder than bigger companies who will also feel the impact.

Super7 mentioned they've been getting outbidded by bigger companies for available shipping containers, creating even more delays/cost inceases.

That's why I posted the story. I've definitely criticized Super 7 in the past -- but what are they supposed to do in this situation? It's really not their fault.
I wish something could be produced outside of China though...

I was listening to a podcast totally away from wrestling figures or toys in general but they made the point of this pandemic had taught us anything it’s you can’t be dependant upon one country for 99% of products manufactured The 99% might be hyperbole but the sentiment is true - people were scurrying for ppi made in China in the middle of a health crisis. That’s crazy, and then yeah it filters down from that life and death important stuff to less important but the sentiment again remains, you can’t rely on one country for manufacturing for the world |
