Haven't RSC before had items en route to them that they've stated were "on the water"? Don’t know specifically, but that’s very common. Crazy thing is in general, “on the water” is roughly a month. Then they get to the port. With the current traffic at the port, the boat can be there awhile. Once the boat docks, it’s gotta sit there until it’s unloaded, which I’ve heard recently has taken a lot longer. Then, depending on where the warehouse is, it either gets on a truck or on a train. Once it finally gets to the warehouse, it’s gotta be unloaded, counted, then received into inventory. It’s so frustratingly unpredictable as someone personally having to track it. My company has one container in particular that I’m tracking. At the beginning of July, that container got to the same state where our warehouse is. It’s now the end of August and that container still hasn’t been received into inventory. We’ve already paid duties, freight, harbor and entry fees. We’ve even already paid the invoice for the product at this point and I still can’t close out the container in our system.

I understand but I'm bummed about the delay because I really am looking forward to this figure. I just didnt see this coming because Ringside posted a bunch of in hand pics plus Tom made a video with the actual figure so I assumed that they had gotten them in stock. I guess I can wait another month. Lol Only jobbers/youtubers get the first set. Everybody who pays has to wait . This has always happened since the beginning of advertising. Like it or not, those youtubers are advertising the product. It's no different than a celebrity getting make up/shoes/whatever early to talk about it.

Typical trash service by RC. Hilarious how nobody is even surprised by their garbage tactics anymore. Everyone sets their expectations as low as possible for them and they still find ways to slip under the bar. yes because a Mattel delay is really ringside’s fault. totally agree Thank you, this isn't hard to understand. Don't know why more people don't see it like me and you. Im glad you're on my side and not ringsides

Genuine question -- I know there are HUGE shipping issues in China. I posted a thread about it in a different forum. But I thought RSC pays extra to fly its figures here earlier -- that's why they have everything first. So why would slow shipping affect RSC? Also with their own exclusives they don’t have to beat anyone to the marketplace requiring expedited shipping. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did the normal shipping on those.
This makes a lot of sense on so many levels. If I was them, I would do this also.
I bet this (and maybe Customs delays if they do air ship these) explains it.

I really only ordered 2 of these for the belts, I think one of my other cactus jack elites can pass for an ECW one. Still a cool looking figure, especially the packaging!

Do you think that maybe you're reading something that isn't there? The most heated comment in the entire thread is someone pretty coolly asking if anyone knew the reason for the delay. I'd say being surprised by this one, at the very least, would be a reasonable reaction, given that we pretty recently got a full slate of pro-shot pictures and a full-feature unboxing video. It's only a month, could have been worse given what's going on in the world right now. The one used for the pics & video is an early production sample I beleive. “Early production sample” means finished product for Mattel nowadays. The quality has gotten worse over the years.

The new shots ringside posted make the wait harder Unfortunately in the face close up you can clearly see glue seeping out from the hair and onto the forehead. Hopefully this isn't an issue on every one.

For the record me having something in hand is not / will never be a good measurement of when you should expect something to ship. Bro, you literally ended the video by saying "and remember, the best measurement of when you should expect something to ship is when I have in my hand." I thought was an odd/out of context outro at the time but now it's all starting to make sense!
