Wasn’t singling you out. Just a general question because every time something has been delayed the last year and a half there’s always a few people not living in reality complaining. Do you think that maybe you're reading something that isn't there? The most heated comment in the entire thread is someone pretty coolly asking if anyone knew the reason for the delay. I'd say being surprised by this one, at the very least, would be a reasonable reaction, given that we pretty recently got a full slate of pro-shot pictures and a full-feature unboxing video. It's only a month, could have been worse given what's going on in the world right now. The one used for the pics & video is an early production sample I beleive.

Covid gets us again. Stores were starting to get regularly stocked last month and not I have a feeling we about to see empty shelves all over again

Fine by me. I have this in an order with other figures scheduled for September and October. Not bad timing if everything else is on time or close to it.

Also restaurants have been having random hours, closing early, etc due to lack of staff. It's just the way things are right now.

Get used to this folks - the world is going through a major shipping crisis and it's going to get worse before it gets better.

Yeah, I'm not worried about it at all. RSC is golden in my book. This ain't Target where your order might get delayed a dozen times before getting cancelled or something. Cactus will get here when he gets here

I understand but I'm bummed about the delay because I really am looking forward to this figure. I just didnt see this coming because Ringside posted a bunch of in hand pics plus Tom made a video with the actual figure so I assumed that they had gotten them in stock. I guess I can wait another month. Lol I am pretty sure Mattel sends them a case or two a few weeks prior to their first shipment so rsc can see them first.

Late September? Well damn. I preordered this specifically for my cousin’s (who’s a huge old school ECW mark) birthday, which is in the BEGINNING of September. That really sucks.

Genuine question -- I know there are HUGE shipping issues in China. I posted a thread about it in a different forum.
But I thought RSC pays extra to fly its figures here earlier -- that's why they have everything first. So why would slow shipping affect RSC?

Well the shipping is probably fast once it actually ships. It can’t ship fast until it actually ships

Typical trash service by RC. Hilarious how nobody is even surprised by their garbage tactics anymore. Everyone sets their expectations as low as possible for them and they still find ways to slip under the bar. yes because a Mattel delay is really ringside’s fault. totally agree

But I thought RSC pays extra to fly its figures here earlier -- that's why they have everything first. So why would slow shipping affect RSC? I could be wrong, but I’m not sure Ringside does air freight. They might get direct shipment from the factory, which could explain them getting things earlier. Cut out the part where the shipment has to go to Mattel, then the store’s distribution centers, then the individual stores. From my own job, I can say air freight is extremely expensive right now and the main shipping issue is the availability of containers and shipping appointments. A lot of shipping is still prioritized to more essential goods. Also, when things got going again, there was issues with ships overloading containers to catch up. This caused tipping, and many containers fell into the water. Now, even the cost of getting a container has skyrocketed due to companies getting into bidding wars. If a container used to cost say $1,500 on a shipment, it could now be in the region of $5k. A Ringside exclusive could be different, due to low quantities, but in general when dealing with high quantities, air freight is generally avoided. It’s faster, but a lot more expensive.

For the record me having something in hand is not / will never be a good measurement of when you should expect something to ship.

And they are short handed.

Also with their own exclusives they don’t have to beat anyone to the marketplace requiring expedited shipping. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did the normal shipping on those.

Haven't RSC before had items en route to them that they've stated were "on the water"?
