I said this in the other thread but itโs pretty doubtful he will come with the US title. Pic says Aug 98. Why else would they specifically do the month after he vacated the US when he won the world? Nothing is different about Goldberg from July to August other than him dropping the US. So if they were planning on including the US then wouldnโt they have said July?

I just hope Mattel does NOT CHEAP OUT. If this is truly an Ultimate Goldberg it NEEDS to have glossy boots, open elbow pads, open back knee pads, closed fists and at least three new younger headscans. A belt is a plus imo. I would also like a unique body mold for Goldberg too. believe me we will see trips body mold, it's mattel they always find shortcuts bro. |

I voted for 1998 because I am hopeful it'll come with a better headscan to match that era, and hopeful it'll include a WCW US title again!
I also love that half black and half white attire he had in 2003. I wouldn't mind that in UE form at all.
2016 Goldberg...I have zero interest in.
Goldberg certainly wasn't a pick that I want for the Ultimate line before so many other deserving characters but I never picked up an elite Goldberg. Having one in UE form will be fine with me.

Voted '98 with the hope that it would come with the WCW World and US championships. No US title, no buy for me. Yeah, I went with 98 as well with the hopes of some WCW belts. Not much interest here for the WWE runs of Goldberg. |

An ultimate WCW Goldberg is probably the only one I would ever buy so I'll go with that.
If that one wins I think I could find space on my shelf for him. But I've never had a need for a WWE run Bill in my collection and lord knows we don't need any more old man Goldberg figures.

Iโm assuming itโs just going to be the same body we get with Triple H, just with the heads we already have.
Maybe we get a new head, but they are not going to create a completely new body for him.

Was hoping 1994 Atlanta Falcons Goldberg would be an option. Youโd assume that would give us more accessories than a 1998 Goldberg.

My only thought was maybe they just specified August '98 because that's when the photo was from? Like maybe they picked a photo to use first to represent WCW Goldberg and it happened to be August of 1998. That said, I think you're right, and he'll have only the world title if '98 wins the poll. |
