This has probably been brought up a few times but I recently moved and thinking of storing my figures in a somewhat different way (I have more room now). Was storing them in bins like these: Sometimes I do have paint chips on some probably from heat in the summers? (figures sticking together) Wondering if there is a better way to store figures to reduce possible damage.

I actually just bought a bin like that at Wal-Mart. I store my loose figs in there. I have them complete with their accessories in bags complete with labels. The bags I use are "Spartan Industrial - 6” X 9” (100 Count) Quart Clear Recloseable Zip Plastic Poly Bags with Resealable Lock Seal Zipper" Labels are Avery Template 5160

I display them on shelves. I do have one shallow tub I keep my old BCAs and stuff in. Those are ziplocked with bubblewrap In between layers. I’m nostalgic for them, but they look like crap next to elites. I do have 2 Tuff Outlaws MOC on display

I use non acid ziplock bags I bought from a website and use a hole puncher to punch some holes in the bags. This is for the figure to at least get some air, so they won't get sticky. I then get my figures and place them in a clear tub and use bubble wrap as layers. I have about 300 Marvel Legends and had them stored for almost 2 years now with no issues.
I wouldn't store them in a garage though, a closet would be best.

If you stack them facing each other with their heads between each other’s feet, it holds them in place better and you don’t get any leg warping or mooshed faces. I’ve never had any paint chipping issues doing this.

On shelves with display stands trying to fit them on 5, 5 foot long shelves mounted to the wall and one over the tv and some in their original box, like exclusives that are super rare.

If they don't make it onto my display's, I typically lay them flat in a tub.
When I moved months ago and recently, I stored them like that & put a layer of spare bubble wrap on top, then lay more figures on top of that, bubble wrap, figures, repeat.

My loose figs are in ziplock bags in a big plastic tub. My MOC are in cardboard boxes. I'd like to get them all in protector cases but it would cost a fortune.

On my shelves. With a few I alternate, the ones not on display are bubble wrapped and kept in a box in one of my drawers

I like to keep mine at the distribution centers for Walmart and target. Plenty of space and I know they're safe there, since I see so many others storing figures there too

This is really embarassing, but my figures that aren't displayed right now (and aren't MOC) are in sharpie-labeled cardboard boxes. I have several boxes of "Unloved" figures across several lines, most of which are just thrown in there. The Buffy figures, however, are wrapped in plastic grocery bags to try and give some padding because they get destroyed so easily.
That said, the few MOC figures I have are in totes in my closet whereas I try to keep my accessories and figure parts (Heads, hands, etc) sorted and in drawers.

All figures are presented in Besta shelves with Glass doors. All accessories I try to keep organized by different boxes and bags! A little extra work, but that way everything keeps tpogether nicely!

Zip bags are the way to go. But you can’t get traditional ones from the grocery store. Those have acid in them. Obviously, you can store food because the bag is not really going to break down in time and get the acids into the food. However, for figures, it absolutely will over time and ruin the paint, etc.
GTZIP has crystal clear bags that are great for figure storage. Specifically, 5x8 should fit all WWE figures (and Marvel Legends, etc).
So yeah, putting them in individually sealed, clear, acid-free bags in a plastic storage container is the way.
I love you.

Sheesh. I'm guessing Cling Wrap will do this too, huh? Gonna have to look into that site.
