This Hulk Hogan elite seems to share the same hand molds as other recent figures with swappable hands. Old elite Hogans used a bigger gripping hand mold than other figures. For example compare the elite DM Hulk grip hand to an elite Flair or steamboat gripping hand. Hulks are bigger. This would make sense since Hulkster was a big guy.
This latest Hulk shares the same grip hand mold as SS Bret. This hand looks maybe slightly bigger than past grip hands used on guys brets size. However Hulk also shares the same smaller fists and slap hands (SS bret has these) as recent figures. These fist and slap hands seem way too petite for hulk. Kind of like how old basic Hulks had smaller hands than his elites.

I think it arrived in the mail and I opened the USPS box, took a good look and said, “Cool. Hulk Hogan.” Then I put it with my other MOC figs and probably won’t look at it again for a few weeks or so.

Hand size is definitely an issue for authenticity, but there's no way that they're going to re-create every hand in multiple sizes. L11 Bam Bam Bigelow's main hands are a good size, but the open hands are the same as the ones used with Daniel Bryan, so they look a little silly. It looks like Hogan's ear cup hands are the same as the ones that came with Ciampa.

did they ever correct the hand size for braun elites? i know the one i have had the silly looking small hands until i switched them with someone else’s

I've never noticed any hands being small except when they give Andre regular sized hands, and now that someone pointed out the tiny fists on Survivor Series Hogan. Now I can't unsee it.

Hand size? Really? This is getting out of control i’m not one for nitpicking, but some of the hands they use are definitely sized wrong. one of those things you don’t really notice UNTIL you notice. then they just look weird. if i’m not mistaken, i believe there’s a couple rey mysterios with hands larger than they should be and they just look out of place |

I actually think some of the standard hands are out of proportions. Particularly, the open hand molds. I wish Mattel would have like two molds. One for guys in the 6ft range and another for shorter guys. Rey’s hands always look weird.

With most elites coming with extra hands it should be easier to find a good fit for everyone. Rey is probably harder because it’s a pain to find a figure with a skin tone and hand size match for him. Sometimes it just seems like the complaints on these figures are getting more and more outrageous. I totally understand QC issues, bad head scans, and height issues but when people start complaining about boot size, and the wrong shade of black knee pads thats what makes me do a 🤦♂️ |

It's still hilarious to look at that Elite Halloween Havoc Rey Mysterio. I keep meaning to pickup a figure to swap some smaller hands on him, but I still haven't done it. He looks like he's wearing those John Cena jumbo fists Jakks made haha.

I honestly think we’re spoiled as collectors. Sure mattel has had their blunders but overall I feel like they’ve hit it out the park with a lot of their figures. I’m no fanboy but I appreciate a lot of what they’ve been able to do. Jakks was cool for it’s time and I loved them when I was collecting them but looking back at them they were a hot mess. So it’s just not in me to complain about the smallest errors when overall I love a lot of what they’ve done |

Still haven’t made small hands for Mysterio either I used the hands from the basic Braun and heated up the ball with a lighter to reshape it .Then had the size hands I wanted for little cost . |
