So at All Out, the Young Bucks kinda won me over, and I'd like to add them to my AEW shelf.
(I know, I'm probably the last person alive hopping on this train)
I'm kinda torn on which set to get. I think I like the outfits on the U3 Bucks more than the Elvis nudie suits on U1B, but the price on the U1B is a bit more attractive. I'm also not exactly sure which heads I like better.
A bit of a weird sticking point for me is the hands...given the Bucks' signature pose, I don't understand why they wouldn't always have closed fist hands, so that's an aspect that kinda bugs me on U3, but it's not necessarily a deal breaker.
Ultimately I'll wind up deciding for myself, but I'm always down for some input, so I thought I'd see which way the folks here tend to lean.
If anyone happens to have pics of both sets side by side, that would be most welcome as well.

There’s another set in purple coming too I remembered that moments after making the thread. There's a part of me that wonders if I should hold out for more final photos of those, as I'm still using the S1 Kenny gear. Purple might be a nice thematic color. |

I like 3 way better, the tassels are iconic
I like the 1B Matt head more tho, if you combined it with the 3 Body and 3 Nick it would be perfect
Like someone else said, Lakers gear from Full Gear 2020 is coming out in Series 7 soon too

I don’t like 1B at all. They darkened the skin tone, but they didn’t match it to the newer figures with proper skin tones. It’s still not right.

I got Series 1 because I’ve been getting everyone’s first appearance. Series 3 looks good and more like traditional Bucks look than Series 1 but the Lakers Bucks from Series 7 feel like the definitive out of the ones announced so far. I went ahead and preordered all of Series 7 since it was four newbies and how much I liked that Bucks look

Neither. I’m waiting out on a set that actually looks like them and has better attires. Think both sets have had rubbish likenesses so far.

I'm in the same boat as a lot here, as I like the S3 attires, but the S1 Matt head. I just own S3, but am going to wait to see what S7 looks like before deciding on if I want to buy S1 Matt for a head swap.

I have both and 3 is significantly better. The cloth goods on series 1 look cool, but if you’re planning on opening, be careful. Their outfits are flimsy as hell and I basically pulled a stitch out on accident. So now Nick’s jacket is screwed up. The series 3 figures are just solid figures without any super cheap cloth goods to be ripped almost immediately out of the package. If you’re a MOC collector I still think series 3 look better in package.

S3. As a bonus, it's also their All In look, which in many ways started this crazy AEW ride.

I have the first set in figure defenders because it’s their first figures. I have loose their S3 figures. I’m not a big fan of either, I want colorful Bucks. Can’t wait for S7 Bucks.

I would say Series 3. The white/red look didn't do it for me and I loved the attire and the tassels added to S3. I also think the headscans are better on the Series 3 figures.
It might be worth holding out for the next Young Bucks though, aren't they in Series 7 anyway. I'd imagine that'll hit soon.
