I’m going to have to hunt Andrade vs PAC down. Sounds like a banger. Also, I see a lot of people complaining about signing all these guys and people not being used right and taking up spots. Shawn Spears should not be involved in anything major in 2021. It’s almost as bad as QT Marshall. You have a hell of a lot of solid heels on the roster not doing much. Give them the spot. Stop highly booked Cody’s generic ass friends. I hate that Tully is anchored to him, he could be used so much better with someone else.

Like, I get he’s doing the tag team thing with Scorpio and he’s already had a big match against Darby, but Ethan Page is a good example of a guy who could be a very solid mid card heel. Stick him with Tully. Make him matter more.

Watching late, had to squeeze in a disc golf round before dark after work.
I would like to start by thanking Andrade and PAC. For being the first time I can ever think of to pull the person up in that tree of woe double stomp spot rather than them hanging on to the ropes like an idiot waiting to get stomped. And then the second time when PAC was doing the usual hang on like a moron spot, they did the smart thing and had PAC simple let go of the bloody ropes and Andrade ate it. Those two spots alone made this match awesome for me. I liked the ending with Andrade's reaction to Chavo cheating.
Adam Cole/Danielson promos were of course awesome, that's no surprise.
6 women tag was awesome. Ruby looked great, Hayter is just world class. With the shape she's gotten herself into, she might actually be top 5 in the world in ring now. We haven't even begun to scratch the surface of what we're going to see out of her. This women's division is freaking rolling now. They will continue to need more time (as does everyone in the roster, really). But man, take the top 10 women in this division, and they stack up to the top 10 of any company in the world, Stardom included.
I' m digging the format for leading up to the main event with the split screen quick promos with Henry in the middle.
Everyone loves the acclaimed. As much as I still disagree with how TK threw Caster & the editing guy under the bus, I'm fully on board with the way he brought Caster back leaning right into the angle every chance they get.
Is it just me, or has Jim ross been a lot better on commentary lately? Granted, I haven't had as much of a problem with him as most, but the past couple months he's sounded noticeably more enthused about everything. It's also really cool to see how much work Skee-a-vone has put in, and his ability to call a lot of moves Excalibur was teaching him two years ago. Tony is one of my all time favourite voices so it's super fun to see. Henry is slowly appearing more comfortable, and he's had some pretty funny one liners so far. Wight was definitely more of a natural, and has completely blown me away with his commentary, but I'm seeing small things with Henry each week. I think he's still hampered by the experience of his tablemates, and they jump in so fast, so instinctively, he doesn't really have a huge chance to contribute yet.
Cool ending with Mox coming out too. Obviously it could have just been Griff, but it's in Cinci so it worked.
When the episode started I was like "man they cut both entrances, this one must be tight". Then it ended literally the split second you heard the actual words "Wild Thing".
Another great episode.

Jim Ross has been good recently. But it wasn’t long ago that he wasn’t doing great, but seems to have picked up a bit recently. Shame they’re gonna be slowly phasing him off commentary soon

Stupid Hulu keeps giving me an error when I try to watch my recording of what I missed. Sounds like it was a great show

All those refs came out at the end of Andrade - Pac to stop Pac from killing Chavo. As per last Sunday (Jericho - MJF) why didn't one of them tell the ref from the match that he missed something and made the wrong call?

Andrade vs Pac was really good. Andrade had a few spots that really got me into the match. His apron DDT, the spinning planche over the top turnbuckle to the outside, and the top rope stomp to the floor were all great. Pac's 450 OFF THE TOP ROPE was awesome! It takes a lot of athleticism to do that not using the turnbuckle.
I didn't like the interference, but I like that Chavo got put through the ringer by everyone. Hopefully this sets up a re-match.
In another timeline, Pac & Andrade would have made a killer tag team. Who knows....it could still happen....

I just read smackdown was actually good tonight. Still don’t regret not watching a second of it. Good for them

The snap suplex off the ropes is one of my favorite spots in all of pro wrestling. It's just so fast and brutal looking The timing on this one was a little off, but it still looked great

Darby & Sting going off on Tully & Spears was great. I wonder if this leads to Darby/MJF for Full Gear

mark henry's live via satellite interviews for rampage main events are so awkward lol I'm like 100% sure that Henry was signed to appease to Busted Open listeners.

I know she's popular, but Riho's chit looks so weak. She knows how to lay stuff in. She just doesn't do it in AEW.

I've said it before, but if BPJ had a different name no one would give a chit. He's just another guy. The jaggiest guy to ever be a jag

AEW does home crowds so well. The other place basically publicly executes the hometown favorite and then rubs the crowds face in it.
I'm not a BPJ guy, but it's cool he got this little moment.
