Also a lot of love to Bobby. For me personally, that dude has carried RAW this year.

What a moment! The #1 tag team now has two WWE Champions, without anyone turning on each other. I’m excited for New Day vs Bloodline, Big E vs Roman, Big E vs Brock, Big E vs Lashley, Big E vs Sheamus… good times!

Although I hate the way they went about it (seemed like a last minute desperation attempt for viewers from either AEW or MNF), glad to see E as WWE champion!
They accomplished the goal of getting me to tune in this week and short of some mega game next week for MNF, will probably have my attention again for next weeks show.
Looking forward to something fresh and different on Raw! And also gotta mention Lashley, dude took it to another level this year and carried Raw like McIntyre did last year.

What a moment! The #1 tag team now has two WWE Champions, without anyone turning on each other. That’s 100% what makes the New Day special and has given them staying power beyond every other faction of their era, the fact that they’ve all remained (kayfabe) best buddies throughout it all. Even split up across brands they still find ways to interact and create like fun moments. From getting some of the worst debut go-away heat in history to breaking every merch record WWE had to Kofi-Mania and now Big E’s cash in tonight, despite the rest of the show being a complete cluster disaster, still being one of the better Raw moments in years. People can say what they want about New Day but they’re a once-in-a-generation group.

Right now is the most excited I've been in years after watching a Raw episode. So happy for E,they've been building him up for a while now but I still had my concerns if they would ever pull the trigger on him and put one of the main titles on him. So glad they did,now X needs his big moment. NEW DAY ROCKS!!!

I mean the man brought up a Seinfeld reference in his victory speech. How can you not love him?

I am curious to how the WWE is gonna book Big E now as WWE Champion. My fear is that he is gonna lose the title before he has any real great matches with the title. I could see Lashley getting the belt back sooner than later.

New Day is never splitting up, and that is 100% for the best.

I’ve always wondered if winning the WWE Championship feels the same when you’ve cashed in and won a three minute match compared to winning an actual full length match.

I hope Big E is 2005/2006 John Cena when he won the title and they just blast him to the top and market him like no tomorrow as the face of WWE because he has enough personality to do so

I’ve always wondered if winning the WWE Championship feels the same when you’ve cashed in and won a three minute match compared to winning an actual full length match. I have to feel like the latter is the bigger wave of emotion. I love that Big E is finally getting to carry the belt for the moment, but you'll never recapture that ride from February 2019 to WrestleMania 35 following Kofi's journey to the title match. For me, that was the most invested - like, the brain has shut down, I'm a dumb kid again with no perception of the world around me, fully enveloped in the story and blindly cheering the babyface - I've been in a pro-wrestling angle in ages. I still remember being on the edge of my seat when it was down to Kofi and Daniel Bryan in the Elimination Chamber, and how much more psyched I got for my trip to NY/NJ when it became apparent that the title match was going to land at WrestleMania. Granted, if we weren't in the midst of a global pandemic that's left me with severe agoraphobia, I probably would have gotten on StubHub yesterday when Big E announced his plan to cash in and driven in to town when work was done, but as it is, I didn't watch Raw, and my reaction this morning was to smile, peruse Twitter's reacts for a bit, and text a friend and congratulate him for catching a great Raw in person. It's still gotta be cool, though. I'm happy for all of those guys, because there's a genuine bond there that really permeates the fourth wall. I hope Xavier Woods doesn't wind up being the Heath Slater to their 3MB.

I hope Big E is 2005/2006 John Cena when he won the title and they just blast him to the top and market him like no tomorrow as the face of WWE because he has enough personality to do so He has the personality, but his booking has not mirrored Cena from 2004 to make him a believable top guy (atleast not yet). “Super-Cena” was dominating the Smackdown midcard in 2004. He didn’t just show up out of nowhere in 2005. He was already unstoppable in 2004, just in the midcard and not in the main event yet. Compare that to Big E who’s basically been pushed as a tag-team midcarder for nearly a decade. He has no major singles feuds with top guys like Cena had before 2005, and he hasn’t been booked to be a legitimate threat at the top of the card. If anything, kayfabe wise he’s closer to a Jinder or Ziggler when they won the world title than Cena. I like Big E but the win last night had no build and Big E right now looks like a midcarder holding the WWE Title. The star makes the belt, and Big E has not been presented in a way to make the belt seem important.

wait....someone from AEW praising something from the WWE? The Revival to WWE confirmed? Just because WWE calls itself a "universe" doesn't make it so. These guys and gals all know each other. mine was satire more than anything else....
