I think they’re good respectively. The only probably I’ve had was the sticking out tongue heads and the torso looking out of place in comparison to his skinny legs. I’m not sure why Mattel gave 123 a unique torso, which imo would work for the other Xpacs and not the rest. I hope we get the lime green version of his dx attire posted above. I’m hoping we also get another Syxx. I want his attire from WCW/NWO World Tour, this time with just a goatee and not full beard.

I've gotta say - I'm really surprised about the "hate" for the DX sticking-out tongue head... I love it! (I'd actually have been disappointed if the figure didn't have it... 🤷♂️)

I think we need red 98 X-Pac, heel 1-2-3 Kidd and 01 to finish the set

The Elite 33 DX is my favorite. I don't understand the issue people have with the tongue out. That's literally what he did.
The NWO figure is good, from a technical standpoint, but post Invasion 01-02 X-pac suuuucccckkkkeeeeddd. X-pac heat was invented during that time.
Would love the red and black DX as an Elite, but I want a 1995 123 Kid the most. So I'm hoping that's next.

my all time favorite wrestler here. nWo is at this point a must have. The DX and Syxx figures are tied for me. Looking forward to seeing what's upcoming but hoping it's either his green on white DX tights or red on white DX tights! The red and silver is already in a basic figure and that's where it should stay. I remember last night I saw a match between Rey mysterio and Syxx-pac on wcw and I was amazed at how fluent both of them moved. Was incredible. Also heard he was a stepping stone for wrestlers like anyone could have a good match with him, or something along the lines of that. Great all around talent and also I know you do the reviews for figs, so will we ever see the legends line get reviewed by ringside ? Ain’t a big deal, but just curious Glad you got to see that great match. I always thought he was just the coolest! As far as us doing some Legends figures, since we are not the exclusive holder there are other priorities on the RSC side and these are a bit harder for me to get ahold of. If we ever end up receiving any from Mattel or the exclusivity changes, you can bet we will. That said, in the meantime, if anyone within that division is able to get them to me as a sample review and the interest is that high, we could definitely consider some YouTube exclusive videos.

Would love the red and black DX as an Elite, but I want a 1995 123 Kid the most. So I'm hoping that's next. I'm all for a tongue out head sculpt but I think the tough thing for me with it is Elite 33 is essentially a Mattel redo of the Jakks Classic Superstars 16 if anyone here has ever seen that. With basically every single X-Pac release ever having the tongue out up to that one, I think people just wanted a version with a different facial expression. We're lucky enough to have had a great one come out in the nWo version. Now...to get sidetracked...and completely destroy the term X-Pac heat. I hate that term. I understand that some people felt his move set was a bit repetitive but...that was real heat! I think wrestling opinion has overwhelmingly grown to realize X-Pac just basically had a really, really great heel run and did such a good job as that heel and that's why you only hear 'go away heat' now. This just didn't really apply. And it all began when he turned on Kane out of nowhere. I think a lot of new, fresh, younger fans, etc (I was in my teens when this happened) were really betrayed by that happening. I can say in no uncertain terms that I loved X-Pac and Kane together and that team could have lasted much longer for me. When that did happen, X-Pac started to get scummier and scummier...in his moveset and his demeanor. Over time, gone was this young guy trying hard to fit in with a much larger crowd thanks to his athletic abilities and having the look of a clean athlete shooting his shot at championship contention (WCW,'98-'99) and soon came an uncaring, greasy haired pain in the absolute ass ('00-'02). Suddenly a guy everyone loved from a group everyone loved turned on his BFF in Kane and then left his beloved group of beloved friends (Road Dogg & Billy Gunn) and started hanging out with a couple of other greaseballs in Albert and Justin Credible. People were becoming way less enthusiastic and it showed as the kind of trashy existence continued and his tactics became way less heroic (X-Pac in the land of the giants was over) and way dirtier. If you watch any of his matches you can see it. This went on and on and they tried to push him as a babyface during the Invasion but that whole period of wrestling was just absolutely ruined anyways and X-Pac's face reactions at that time are a clear example of why it was horribly booked. He should have remained a heel and they should have found another way to have a WWF vs. WCW idea. Not only were there too many stars people loved, what doesn't get mentioned enough is there are plenty of stars people hated or were starting to hate on the WWF side, and X-Pac was one of those at the time. This is why I think his Light Heavyweight/Cruiserweight run is just kind of a fart in the wind for most people. It isn't his fault, it's just the way the show was being booked. It's easy for me to say he was one of the best parts of the nWo revival and that actually still had momentum when he showed up acting and looking more like a rodent than anything and people were eating it up. His moveset suddenly seemed dirtier and more obnoxious. How could you not hate the guy who jumped a newly rejuvenated Hulk Hogan? How could you not hate the guy who AGAIN is dragging his former best friend through the mud and stealing his mask? (WWE may act now like our attention spans don't go past 4-5 months but back then they didn't have a choice...this stuff was always all fresh). All the while, The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Kane, Booker T, Goldust, etc. all looked like a million bucks thanks to how much everyone hated X-Pac because of what he'd done and become over time which far outweighs the idea that no one ever wanted to see him again. And if there was someone who didn't, they're probably taking the entirety too seriously. I had a neighbor around 2009 who was an older gentleman who happened to find out about my job and revealed to me his love for wrestling then immediately went on about how much he hated Jericho and every time he sees him on TV wants to punch him in the face. Same deal here. I think this doesn't translate as much in the modern era because so many talents reveal so much about themselves constantly with social media and in turn so many fans expect it of them that you can't even suspend this type of disbelief anymore and I think that's what makes X-Pac's heel time so much more of a good thing this day and age. Really all any of us knew about him that weren't subscribed to an online newsletter about backstage politics was that he betrayed his best friend, left his cool group for a scummy one and then reminded everyone that the nWo weren't supposed to be cool, they were bungholes. Me on the other hand, I was and will always be all about him and I just thought he was too good not to be the biggest fan of. When you have a favorite, you have a favorite, regardless! Sometimes that's just how it works. /endrant P.S. It's not lost on me that the thick of the time period I'm referencing was during the 'plane ride from hell' and with all the terrible things we're learning and dealing with how to think of and handle, I have to say he's even more of my favorite than ever now because nothing has made me laugh harder than thinking about a pissed off Michael Hayes walking around trying to figure out who cut off his ponytail. Inappropriate maybe but definitely the least offensive of the things that happened during that time and I can't stand the guy so it's pretty poetic for me.

Went with DX imo the overall best one. Syxx should of had a different hair sculpt along with a sculpted goatee 123 kids sculpt doesn’t do that character justice. 2002 Xpac the head just doesn’t look like him to me.

There's something to be said for this and, reading it, I can't help but think of that old Bischoff thing where he talked about how the worst thing in wrestling is indifference. If they are booing you out of the building, even if it's because they don't want to see you anymore, it's still a reaction. It's still heat, even it it's "go home heat"
The only way you've truly failed in wrestling is if you go out there and you can hear crickets chirping. Or worse, "Boring" chants. That's when you've failed.

For me, I was so happy when he joined the NWO, it felt very needed. I was so badly hoping Hennig was next.
